An extremely pleasant stay, a pity it was too short!

Breakfast was fresh, tasty and plenty. Exactly how a breakfast meal should be. And coffee was fantastic! The couple who run the business are very welcoming, attentive to detail and the room was spotless. We were not expecting the room to be tidied and the bathroom to be wiped, given the fact that we only stayed 2 nights. The bedding was top notch quality and the surroundings very tranquil. The whole service was above and beyond. One day Dominique was outside busy with his horse and asked our daughter whether she would like to lead the horse to the stable. Our daughter was thrilled about that. Such kind and diligent people. Any requests, just ring the bell. :) Thank you, both!

The property is very well located, without the inconveniences of the tourist area. The owners are very friendly, they speak a lot of languages and they gave us very useful tips of every place that we plan to visit. They were always worried about our needs.

Everything perfect, super clean, excellent breakfast, very nice and helpful couple. Even the extra bed in the room was a real bed, not just a foldable one. Beds were very comfortable and rooms are beautiful.

The best stay we’ve ever had—peaceful, and welcoming, made unforgettable by the kindest hosts

A beautifully renovated castle in a peaceful, fairytale-like location between Ghent and Bruges. The B&B is in a charming village, perfectly connected by car, and ideal for exploring the area by bike—there are plenty of great cycling routes nearby. The rooms are modern with retro charm, very well sound-insulated, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Everything was spotless—super clean and clearly maintained with care. Breakfast was rich and served in a stunning dining room, and the whole place feels calm, safe, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. The garden is also beautiful and adds to the relaxing atmosphere. And then—our wonderful hosts. They speak German and English fluently, were always happy to share great local tips, and made us feel truly welcome. Did I mention how great they are? It was honestly hard to say goodbye. We’d return in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and gracious. Breakfast was delicious. The house is very beautiful. It's a nice, quiet location. Everything was wonderful.

This is not a complaint, just for your information, the stairs going up to the rooms are quite steep and a little scary to come down. This is really no problem for most people, but if you have any disabilities that cause limitations on stairs, this might be an issue for you.

Outstanding place to stay around Brugges and Gent

Attention to details is at the top. No corners were cut. The room's interior is very fresh and nice(not only on photos). The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast experience was very pleasant as well, food was fresh and tasty, the dining area corresponds to castle's style, equipped with new high quality furniture and china. The location is very quiet and peaceful, at the same time very close to Brugges and Gent.

Brilliant stay in Belguim countryside.

Everything. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and well equipped. The property was incredible and secure. The breakfasts were delicious. The property is only half an hour from Bruges and Ghent and 50minutes from the coast. We would definitely return. It is also surrounded by the countryside and lots of walks but we didn't have time to explore those unfortunately.

Excellent customer service in a beautiful castle B&B

Beautifully renovated B&B, garden and surroundings. Delicious breakfast and very friendly and helpful hosts.They even offered to drive me to the local tavern for dinner so I didn't have to drive. They gave me newspapers and magazines to read in the garden where they put a small table in the sun, especially for me. Fabulous!

A perfect family place if you are visiting Brugge and Gent.

Everything was perfect! The owners even stood at the door while we were departing with our car to say to us goodbye! Perfect place if you have a car and you want to visit both Gent and Brugge, it's placed exactly between them. Very clean! Home made breakfast!

The stairs are some narrow and if you have to move your infant child, it's a little bit difficult.

A quaint and beautiful castle with such wonderful hosts. Nothing is too much for them. The rooms, just wow! Better than most 5* hotels. So comfortable, spacious. 10 minutes drive from Brugge centre! Play apparatus in the garden for the kids. Swimming pool (summer only) but good to know it's there. And, even a friendly horse, Finn, to say hi to! Will definitely be returning here by God's grace.

There is nothing not to like but I would add tea/coffee facilities in the room.
