Beautiful setting, now understand why Van Gogh painted the sky and countryside as he did.

Clean, well organized. Lovely jetted tub with open easy accessible shower. Lovely breakfast experience with Guy. For the artist in you, visit Sliek Aelier just down the road.

A dream break

A very cozy place run by very kind hosts. Everything was organized and planned with attention to the smallest detail. Beautiful property, garden, delicious breakfasts, nice rooms, an on-site bar, local produce, and a quiet neighborhood. The hosts are very kind and happy to help and advise.

This place is a find!

Everything was exceptional, the hosts were wonderful, they prepared us a very special breakfast with a wide variety of sweet and sour products, all homemade and local. The house was comfortable and beautifully decorated, everything was very clean, we would recommend this place!

The only thing was the mosquitos, there are a lot of them, it would have been nice to have the nets on the windows of the ground floor, otherwise everything was perfect.

It was a perfect stop-over on our long drive from Copenhagen down to Calais, just what we needed!

It was lovely here; very comfortable in a pretty, peaceful setting. Lots of places to sit outside, a very nice, quiet room, and an excellent breakfast! And we enjoyed cycling through the countryside to a small town to have dinner. Thank you Dominique and Guy, you have a created a great place to stay.

We didn't like the coffee sachets in our room, which were very sweet, and would have liked some 'wake-up' teabags, or similar, to have in the morning, instead of 'relax' which we didn't want to do first thing before a journey!

Accessibility is the sole handicap of the house. Close to a departemental road but not on a main axis, not visible from a main axis, in the middle of the fields

First of all, loveliest hosts ever! Secondly, perfect remote place to charge batteries. The rooms are individually decorated and create a perfect atmosphere to relax and discover the nearby places Gent and Brugge. Additionally I probably enjoyed the best breakfast ever.

Excellent B&B pour un WE entre Gent et Bruges

Excellent séjour, un endroit particulier chargé d’histoire. Les propriétaires sont charmants et répondent à tous vos besoins. Un super petit déjeuner avec les œufs de leur élevage et des confitures faites maison. Un séjour « de rêve » (Droom !!). Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Rustig gelegen, voldoende parkeerplaats. Wij waren hier omwille van het huwelijk van onze dochter. Er was geen probleem met late arrival! Super ontbijt met droomkerks eitje!

Eigenlijk alles, een sfeervolle plek, je voelt je heel welkom. Het ontbijt wordt met zoveel passie geserveerd. De verhalen over de producten die ze gebruiken, dat is zo mooi om te horen, daardoor smaakt het nog beter.😊. Mooie ruime kamer met weids uitzicht. Vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw.

Fantastisch geheel, mooie tuin. Boeiende verhalen over het gehucht 'Doomkerke'.

We hadden de dakkamer. Daardoor moeilijkere doorgang waardoor je moest oppassen om je hoofd niet zou stoten tegen de schuine muur aan de ramen.

De ideale onthaastplek

Vriendelijk contact, in een zeer landelijke setting. Zeer uitgebreid en goed verzorgd ontbijt met heerlijke streekproducten. Op speciaal verzoek van ons gezelschap, vroeg (06:45) ontbijt voorzien. Diverse zitgelegenheden zowel binnen als buiten, met mogelijkheid een streekbier of wijn te nuttigen. Vooraf ingelicht dat wegens wegenwerken het domein niet rechtstreeks te bereiken was. Er was een alternatieve inrijroute via een landweg voorzien.

Geen negatieve punten. Bedden naar persoonlijk gevoel wat te hard.

La colazione era buonissima e c’erano diverse opzioni di cibo, tutti prodotti locali o fatti in casa. Durante la colazione viene creato “un rituale” dove il proprietario offre piccoli assaggi di cibi prima della colazione completa. Il personale è accogliente, gentile e cordiale. Esperienza rilassante, piacevole e magica. La struttura è circondata dalla natura in un’atmosfera tranquilla e silenziosa.
