a great stay at such short notice. Meal choice was excellent.
staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. We arrived not being able to speak German and didn't know our way around. It was after 6pm when we arrived but the staff showed us directly to our accommodation.
my father in law is disabled and he was put in accommodation in staff quarters with a cockeral crowing at 4am. He had much further to walk than us. However, it was a last minute booking. no comfortable chairs or communal seating area to relax after dinner.

Overall wonderful place for young and old. Especially for the Children.
Had an excellent 3 days short holiday with my wife. The hotel room was very friendly and clean, booked the deluxe room. Food was also very good with plenty of selection, Salad buffet, soup, and various dishes. No one will go hungry. The price of drinks is normal. If you are staying in the hotel, that is where your Breakfast will be and not in the restaurant. The swimming pool is 25 meters for adults and a pool area for children which was well visited. 1 sauna and 1 Steam room are also clean and spacious. Staff very friendly and competent in their duties. If you are an older couple like my wife and me, the best time to book is outside the children's holidays. Will definitely be coming again, the next time with my grandchild.
I have only one complaint, and that is the steps to the reception. There are 4 steps down to the reception, and they are lit with indirect lighting, the last step has no lighting, so it gives you the impression that you have reached the last step which is not the case, and then you stumble. That happened to me twice, I was lucky that when I fell the first time I was ok. I do not think it only happened to me because there is a sign in German, Vorsicht Stufe!  (Watch your step) but which step?

Nach vielen Jahren waren wir wieder in Maierhöfen und es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Hotel ist super und schön eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
Es gab nichts zu bemängeln.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Ankunftszeit ist auch sehr flexibel und 2 Tage vor der Anreise noch mal einen kurzen Rückruf erhalten um die Ankunftszeit abzusprechen und wo man den Schlüssel bekommt, wenn man sich verspätet und die Anmeldung nicht mehr besetzt ist. Die kostenfreie Nutzung der Schwimmhalle und viele Freizeitaktivitäten für einen kleinen Obolus.
Das Licht im Schlafzimmer ist ein bisschen unglücklich angeordnet .

Es war ein schöner erholsamer Urlaub.
Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und sehr abwechslungsreich. Wir waren positiv überrascht. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut, vorfallen gab es frische Bäckerware und keine Aufbackware.
