    I would suggest for those people who would like to stay at hostel and has own vehicles or could afford taxi, because this a bit far from the Ueno station which connects wide subway network. There is Nezu station but no proper connectivity. And the light on the bunk bed is not bright enough to work. They have very big lobby and pool board for to make good connections. Clean bathroom and toilets

    The place looks good in pictures, the lobby, building it’s nice. Overall the room itself was clean.(however there was some yucky dirt/dust around the mirror). But this place is old. Paint comes off the walls in some places, couple of adhoc lousy cover ups for damages like wall hits, wood splints are visible. This causes an impression of a rather neglected room. There was an unpleasant smell from the pipes. There are separate taps for hot and cold water, which are hard to manage, and I’ve used such setups multiple times in my life. The water pressure in the shower changes randomly and together with the water temperature(from boiling hot to super cold in a couple of seconds, unprompted). At one point there was only cold water, even though the hot tap was fully on. I mean, I am ok to stay in such a place if it’s cheap for a max of 1/2 nights. After all just sleep there and that’s it, so it serves its purpose. Yet the cosy, home vibe experience is definitely not there.
