The hostel is very close to Ameyoko. Although the area outside is full of bars and nightlife, once you go up to the room on the 4th floor, you can hardly hear any of the noise from outside because it is surprisingly quiet. I was very happy with how clean everything was. The room, shower room, and toilet were all well-maintained and spotless. They also provide useful amenities such as an electric hot water pot, microwave, refrigerator, plates, utensils, hangers, slippers, and even a hair straightener/curler. These may seem like small things, but they were very helpful and convenient during my stay. I really enjoyed my experience here and would love to stay at this hostel again if I have the opportunity to return to Tokyo in the future. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

+ Location is excellent, near Ueno station and its vicinity. Super clean as the staff regularly clean the hostel - Located on 4th floor with no elevator. Stairs to the bed also weirdly positioned

It’s very clean and quiet. It’s also very near many shops and station.

There is no seperate hang out area, it is all just one room. Capsules, bath, toilets, kitchen and seating area. So it VERY noisy especially at night. People were packing, cooking and talking until often 1am. It drove me insane at night. Especially because there seems to be an older woman living in the room who seems to (maybe?) work there (cleaning) and she would sleep during the afternoon hours and would complain to me when simply being on a phone call with friends at like 6pm in the evening. But then at 1am others would be super loud in the kitchen area and she wouldn't say a word. That woman was SO obnoxious, wouldn't stay there again. No staff other than her was present. You check in/out by yourself, no Receptionist, Noone there. Also the area itself is a bit sketchy with many host bars around.
