Cocoon München Stachus

We stayed here in Munich for two nights with a family of five, so we ended up with two separate rooms - one two-person room and one three-person room. The rooms were actually quite unique and different from one another - the two-person room had a sliding door between toilet and shower, while the three-person room had separate doors for each. In both rooms you could fully see into the shower from the room, but there was a nice privacy curtain included for those families who may not feel as comfortable with this open layout. One room had a mini fridge as well. The hotel was very clean, easy to find and the staff was great. It was a short walk away from lots of great sights in the Old Town, and was very close to the Hauptbanhof transit hub, so you could really get anywhere quite easily.

The room facing the street was quite loud, as it was a busy area of the city, although the room facing the opposite way was very quiet.

Great location, great coffee and breakfast, friendly staff well organised, clean and quiet. Cute decor.

Our room had a separate toilet from sink from shower which was a bit unusual. The shower is entirely glass so not super private if you have a roommate.

The area where the hotel is located is lowkey scary. I felt very unsafe. :/
