Die Lage ist unglaublich schön und man hat sehr gute Wander- und Spaziermöglichkeiten direkt vor der Haustüre. Das Cottage ist absolut bezaubernd und total liebevoll eingerichtet. Es hat einem auch nichts an Utensilien gefehlt. Der Blick aus den Fenstern ist atemberaubend. Mitten in den Yorkshire Dales- einfach nur bezaubernd! Es hätte einen nicht gewundert, wenn plötzlich James Harriot vorbei spaziert wäre. Alle Nachbarn waren super freundlich:)

Leider war es ziemlich staubig im Haus. Außerdem hat das Haus mit Feuchtigkeit zu kämpfen, dass roch man leider schon beim reinkommen. Mein Sohn leidet unter Asthma und einer Hauststaubmilben-Allergie, für ihn war der Auftenthalt im Haus belastend.

Superb location, parts of the cottage were good the kitchen facilities were excellent and also the laundry facilities, the living room was quaint, we loved the fire and overall fine for our stay but realistically wouldn't stay again I don't think.

but some areas lacking, the main bathroom was an issue but size constraints don't make it easy, the shower struggled late into the week so may need repair and the TV was a bit dated but usable , would have been nice to have some garden facilities

The cottage was so cute! It was clean and the sheets in the bedroom smelt amazing. The location was absolutely perfect, there was a lane directly across the road from us we could go on a lovely walk with our dog. The local pub is fantastic, brilliant staff, gorgeous food and lovely veggie options. The locals were all really friendly and helpful.

The only thing I would say wasn’t ideal were the instructions on how to get there once you arrive in Starbotton. We arrived at 7pm so it was pitch black and we couldn’t find the cottage, so ended up asking in the pub who were very helpful and gave us directions. It’s literally just down the road but in the dark it was difficult to locate. I also had to call on the day to request check in instructions as nothing was sent in advance. I’m not sure if this is down to booking.com though. Also the materials to light the fire were all out when it said they should be stocked up but we just went to the local shop and topped up. Other than that it was excellent and I wouldn’t want to put people off as it was an excellent weekend.
