This was a lovely cottage, so close to many walks in the Dales, especially the decent from Bucken Pike. Each of the bedrooms is very well equipped, as are the kitchen and lounge areas. I always enjoy cooking , so to have proper sharp knives and all the pots and pans I need, is a bonus. The cottage has the bedrooms on the ground floor and social space, into the garden in the first floor which works really well.

Location terrific, loads of walks of varying degrees of difficulty available. A little early in the season for all facilities to be open, ie pubs and cafes but we had guessed that would be the case and were happy that the countryside was not heaving with traffic! Cottage was delightful. Very clean, comfy, warm and cosy. Kitchen was well equipped. Wasn't warm enough to sit in the garden but it looked a lovely spot to have a glass of wine in the evening as the sun goes down.

The only thing I can say is that there were no large bath towels. The towels and linen supplied were of good quality but I did miss a soft large towel after a shower!
