Charming staff, who took us on a local walk to show us the area. Plunge pool was a welcome treat after a day of safari. Meals were selected by the staff for us and we loved them.
Would have loved an overhead fan. The room we had was a bit dark and blinds would have been nice so that we didn’t have to worry about people seeing inside with the small windows in order to let some natural light into the room.

It was an idyllic location very quiet and private. The staff were amazing. So helpful with trips etc. And the food was delicious.

The staff, Haresh and team were super efficient, helpful and welcoming. Everything ran like clockwork. They took care of our excursions. The 19 year old chef made insanely great dishes, some of the best I have eaten! While it's mainly a place you go to if you want to explore Wilpattu national park, it's worthwhile enough to travel there just for a stay at Wild Wadi. We went out to explore the lakes and a morning run. Very safe. The food prep was very hygienic and they filter mineral water for you to drink.

The plunge pool was good for a dip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I asked them to organise a cake for my husband 80th birthday. They did and even put up balloons and streamers. They catered for us and I enjoyed all the meals.
We stayed there to go on a Safari. Was disappointed with the Safari tour not seeing much wildlife was expensive and a waste of time.
