Surrounded by jungle, quiet. Elephant visited garden one night. Breakfast outstanding. Lovely garden. Staff charming and attentive. It reminded me of “Out of Africa “ film

A bit too far away from activity. You couldn’t walk there at night. Dinner fairly average. Swimming pool looked like it needed a bit of cleaning. Quite expensive in comparison to other similar standard properties. No tv in room. If weather bad(raining) not much to do.

We stayed for 3 days during christmas 2025. The hotel and its breakfast was breathtaking. It is a relatively small hotel (only 4-5 rooms as far as I know). The rooms are way more spacious than what it looks in photos and it has a terrace! It really surprised me. The location is remote, apparently there are even elephants roaming around. We saw on the property some monkeys, peacocks, and tucans. It felt like being on a safari in the comfort of the hotel. And surprisingly enough, there are no mosquitos in sight even at night! We still put repellent on but we got no mosquito bites. And man, let me talk about the breakfast. It is sooooo worth it. It is more like a brunch in terms of quantity. The quality of the food is just on another level. Fresh juices, fruit,...etc . I recommend going for srilankan food instead of the western stuff. Also, the staff was very attentive at all times. Maybe just to keep in mind: since it is remote (which is amazing), the way to get there might be tricky for big vehicles. Our van driver scratched the vehicle getting there unfortunately. I though this place (just like the surrounding area) was overpriced but damn, this place is so worth the money.

Nice pool and a very nice place to get some rest in the nature with the monkeys and other animals that play in the garden.

The road to the accomodation is very bumpy and dark,, keep that in mind. The hotelmanager isn't a very warm person. He wants the best for his guests, I guess, but is really in your space when you're eating. We couldn't even drink our welcome drink and there was a rush for getting to the room. The curtains were broken but it didn't bother us very much. Washing prices are very overcharged like the rest of all the services. Food is ok but not worth the money. We recommend a good restaurant nearby for way better food.
