Of course the staff were very smiley and willing to help.
Loved the outside bathroom and the aesthetically designed wooden buildings.
Cottage was clean and bed was very comfy.
Location was perfect for walk to pidurangala and pleasant bike rides.
The food was overall a bit strange in terms of selection. Not much to do with Sri Lanka and disappointing.
The cottage seemed very tired and unmaintained. Safe was broken and light bulbs missing.

Great staff, great food and the room is very clean and spacious. I also did a night walk to see some Loris and a sunrise walk up to Pidurangala and it was great!

Great location for Lion and Pidurangala Rock. Very close to elephant safari too! Unique experience to camp outside with wildlife. The monkeys came into our hut and were friendly and funny. The sounds of nature at night are beautiful!
3 wild dogs sleep on the stairs of the hut we stayed in (what must be most nights!). They were growling at us when we arrived at night and proceeded to scrape the gate at the top of our stairs at the end of our bed and whimper all night to try get into our room which made us scared to use the toilet. They barked on our stairs for over an hour straight at 1am and we kept waking up thinking that they had gotten through the gate at the end of our bed.
