Habarana Tree House - Ivory cottage

Trato excelente por parte del personal. Es un paraíso junto a un lago. Desde el primer momento hemos estado atendidas y nos han ayudado en todas las gestiones: han organizado el safari, un paseo en barco, un taller de cocina.

We LOVED staying here for 3 nights. From the moment we arrived, the team here were so kind and welcoming. The team really went above and beyond, and exceeded our expectations - Suresh was fantastic, helping us organise so many activities and transport at reasonable prices, and the meals were very tasty with huge portions. Room was excellent - very clean, spacious and we really appreciated the aircon. Setting is by a beautiful lake, so you’re immersed in beautiful wildlife, and wake up to the beautiful sounds. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

There aren’t lots of facilities on site, but we didn’t mind too much as you’re only a short walk to town!

It was very clean and new and the staff were very nice.

The location meant that it was quite isolated and we had to rely on the property for all food/transport. The bathroom was outside so there were quite a number of bugs/creatures in it.

Stand Ende Nov 2025 Es ist ein einziges Baumhaus=Zimmer vorhanden und ein zweites im Bau. Ansonsten keinerlei Hoteleinrichtungen. Keine Rezeption/Lobby, kein Aufenthaltsraum, kein Restaurant. Wir hatten zudem Pech mit dem Wetter, es regnete fast pausenlos und wir stapften im Matsch herum, da auch keine befestigten Wege vorhanden. Wir bestellten uns das Abendessen auf die Terrasse oben vor dem Zimmer. Dafür wurde freundlicherweise ein Tisch und Stühle hoch geschafft. Das war eine gute Lösung, auch für das Frühstück. Das Zimmer selbst hat 3 grosse Betten, damit Platz für bis zu 6 Pers. Wir waren zu dritt. Es ist noch unvollständig ausgestattet, kein Schrank, keine Kleiderhaken, keine Gepäckablage. Das Bad ist offen, es gab keinen einzigen Haken für die Handtücher und es fehlte das Abflussrohr der Dusche.
