The location close to the lake was enjoyable and we appreciated very much the balcony of our room overlooking the lake with the mountains at the background. The villa itself is a nice old Italian style building well renovated. Inexpensive parking opportunity (10 CHF per day) is an advantage.

The WC/bathroom of our room together with the one of the room nextdoor was actually a walled enclosure within the room, and there was a permanent unpleasant smell which impelled us to keep the window open all the time in spite of the heat outside. At the same time the villa stands by a main road with quite some traffic just under the windows of the room where we stayed.

Difficult to rate as great exceptional elements together with some anoyances that need improvments.

typical nice old house renewed recently with excellent taste. Rooms are spacious with all the modern comfort. Easy access to beach for a little swim in summer

The hotel is staffed only in the morning by one person (easily overwhelmed because of the many assignments). THIS SHOULD BE CLEARLY INDICATED IN THE HOTEL DESCRIPTION BEFORE A NONE REFUNDABLE RESERVATION IS MADE. No possibility thus to ask for little advice like a good restaurant nearby , how to access the beach, time of breakfast and check-out, etc etc. A self service coffee machine should be at the disposal during the breakfast to free up the staff to refill the buffet (do not come at 10:00AM if you want to get the full choice). Koffee price in the room very expensive (4CHF)

One night of luxury with an excellent breakfast.

The room is well-appointed and feels luxurious. The ceiling is very high with a beautifully painted design on it. Having windows on two sides of the room brought in a lot of light. Although the bathroom is small, it is outfitted to a high standard and feels spotless. The breakfast was generous and of high quality as well. The server at breakfast was helpful and accommodating when we needed to learn how to use the egg cooker.

I was surprised to pay what we did and not have a staff person available to greet us at check-in. We called ahead for the code that gave us access to the key to the front door and our room but it just felt odd. Staff is available at breakfast in the morning but not in the afternoon, evenings, or overnight.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Ruhiges, sauberes Haus, Frühstück absolut ausreichend, Zimmer schön. (Schönstes Zimmer war das "Zimmer Grün") Lage war mit Kindern jetzt eher unpassend. (Keine Ortsgeschehen drum herum). Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstücksraum recht steril (still).

Vielleicht würde etwas Musik im Frühstücksraum die stille Atmosphäre etwas auflockern :-) Wir haben daher lieber draussen gefrühstückt.

Da das Hotel direkt am See und somit an der Uferstrasse liegt, sollte man eher die Zimmer nach hinten raus nehmen. Aber nachts ist auf der Strasse nicht viel los, sodas es auch nach vorne raus geht.

Prima maar niet spectaculair

Het personeel was erg aardig en gaven tips en tricks. Bed lag prima. Ontbijt was goed. Wifi deed het de eerste avond niet maar daarna was het prima. Kamer zag er leuk uit, niet echt praktisch maar wel mooi. Uitzicht op het meer vanuit de Rosa kamer.

De kamer was niet verduisterend te krijgen. Het verkeer van de hoofdweg. De badkamer was wat klein. Betalen voor koffiefaciliteiten op de kamer en geen flesje water van het huis. Wij waren de enigen die in het hotel verbleven, maar moesten nogsteeds per dag betalen voor de parkeerplaats ondanks die er voldoende plekken waren. Maar 1 restaurant te voet bereikbaar, de rest was gesloten. In de directe omgeving was niets te doen. Alleen in de ochtend is er iemand aanwezig, dus zelf check-in met een code. Werkt opzich prima, maar vragen ect moet dan via berichten of bellen. Geen zitstoelen op het balkon.
