Very clean and friendly

A very comfortable friendly and spotless clean hotel

Although our balcony room was very clean it was dated, we missed airco, fridge and tea and coffee facilities, but we always take those with us just incase. I didn't think that the breakfast was a good as lead to believe from other reviews, but adequate

A nice hotel, good value for money with a good restaurant.

This is a modestly priced traditional German family run hotel, very clean if a little dated. It's an excellent location if cycling the Mosel. The hotel has a good restaurant and the breakfast was very good. The hotel kindly provided secure overnight bike storage.

Everything! The hotel is amazingly beautiful in the old germany style and the employees were super kind and warm. The breakfast was GREAT! They separate a table for you and bring you coffee and milk as you wish. The breakfast things are fresh and very tasty, we loved it.

The only thing I could bother to tell is that we selected a couples bed, but when arriving there was just two single beds together, which is horrible to sleep separate from my wife. But besides that, everything is perfect.

great hotel just being your own fan and get a room away from the main road.

nice hotel very clean and bed was comfortable. breakfast was wonderful. dinner was gourmet

no air conditioning and had to keep windows open. problem was a busy main road was right outside our window so it was very noisy

Comfortable place to see nature and culture

Amazing location, especially close to Alken/Burg Thurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are comfortable and cozy, and had a great view of the river/hills that was healing!

Superb

Excelllent riverside location with beautiful views. 15 minute walk to local railway station. Covid-19 secure but still had relaxed atmosphere. Very good selection on breakfast buffet. Quality of food in restaurant was outstanding - didn't have a better meal anywhere else. Room was large and comfortable.

Natural yoghurt at breakfast would have been appreciated. This is not the fault of the hotel but it might be helpful to know if you're planning a stay - Lof has few facilities in the way of shops or even a post office.

Very good

Room interior was pretty new, with really good beds. Badroom is a bit outdated but very clean and functional. Breakfast is good and parking places easily accessible. Nice to camp out for visit to Eltz Castle, Cochem, Geierlay suspension bridge, etc.

Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht um uns. Die leckeren Speisen im gemütlichen Restaurant mit Blick auf die Mosel haben wir sehr genossen. Das Restaurant ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung wie z.B. nach Cochem. Das Hotelzimmer war mit Fön und TV ausgestattet. Eine Flasche Mineralwasser stand zur Begrüßung bereit. Der Bick aus dem Fenster fiel auf die gegenüber auf einem Berg liegende Burg Thurant- abends illuminiert.

Für gehandicapte Menschen ein Vermerk: obwohl das Hotel mit einem Lift ausgestattet ist, befinden sich im unteren Eingangsbereich wie auch z.T. auf den Etagen wenige Treppenstufen. Für mich am Rollator gehend nur mit Hilfe meines Mannes machbar.

Es war wieder ein rundum gelingener Aufenthalt.

Wir waren jetzt schon das zweite Mal hier. Das Frühstück ist gut und reichhaltig. Am letzten Tad wurde unser Frühstücktisch schon reichlich gedeckt da wir die einzgen Gäste waren.Die Chefin war sehr freundlich und hat immer gefragt ob etwas fehlt und alles passt.Wir waren auch zum Abendessen hier und es war sehr gut und lecker .Kann man sehr empfehlen hier zu essen. Für Wanderungen ist das Hotel was direkt an der Mosel liegt genial.Auch Parkplätze sind kostenlos vorhanden.Rundum wieder ein gelungener Aufenthalt.

Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist das die Zimmer schon etwas in die Jahrer gekommen sind.

Perfekte Unterkunft direkt am Moselsteig

Freundlicher Empfang, gemütliches Zimmer, tolles Restaurant mit feiner Küche, freundlicher Service.

Zum Frühstück wird man mit der strengen Frage „Sind-Sie-vom-Bus!?!“ empfangen, bekommt dann einen Platz zugewiesen. Das Buffet ist für den Andrang morgens nicht ideal proportioniert.

Das Frühstück war sehr mäßig, nur einfachste Brötchen, billigste Marmelade. Das Angebot war immer schwacher Standard. Das Zimmer selbst war einigermäßen, es wurde während des 7tägigen Aufenthalte.s nicht gesaugt. Für den Eingangsbereich, in dem der Kleiderschrank stand, gab es zwar eine Deckenlampe, aber keinen Schalter. Das Bad war uralt. Die Armaturen waren zerkratzt. Das Ablaufsieb in der Dusche fehlte. Es gab keinen Badhocker oder eine andere Ablagemöglichkeit. Die Beleuchtung war sehr düster, bei dunkler Fliesung

Mooi gelegen hotel met uittekende menukaart, comfortabele kamers en vriendelijk personeel.

Het hotel is schitterend gelegen aan de Moezel. De kamers met balkon hebben uitzicht op het water en op de wijnbergen. Het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en niets is hen te veel. Het ontbijt is heerlijk met verse broodjes, genoeg beleg en een vaste tafel voor ons gezelschap. Je kunt uitstekend dineren in het restaurant en het eten is van hoge kwaliteit. Het hotel is zeker een aanrader. Gemoedelijk en servicegericht.
