Hotel Adolesce

Kees is absolutely adorable: Kind, helpful, and always in a good mood! The hotel might look a bit old fashion but it is sparkling clean and well equipped with everything one may need. The more you look around you, the more things you find! This is especially true for the breakfast space, which is extremely organised and efficiently split in 2 fridges and an open space. The hotel is in a very quiet place, next to a canal. Be aware the stairs are really steep and might not be suitable for older people or bulky luggage.

I am not a big fan of carpet, but the place was super clean. So,ok!

Great Location away from the crowds, halfway between Amsterdam Center and the Museum Quarter. The owner is a very attentive host, he gave me a room upgrade upon arrival and was always willing to give me recommendations about the city. The hotel has coffee/tea/sandwich/snacks station for 24 hrs.

The tea selection is pretty good but the coffee is not great and most of the snacks/pastries are pre-packaged.

Stayed during a heatwave and it was quite stuffy
