The LIF Boutique

Excellent value for money. This was a fantastic hotel and if I’m ever back I’ll see if I can book this one again. The staff member I spoke to was great and helped with my check in. The room was clean and beautiful with the mirror that had lighting around the borders, the balcony view, a sink beside the bed (which meant I didn’t need to get up to wash my hands), and just overall great vibes. As this hotel was a 30 minute walk from the city centre it was quieter than other hotels which was welcomed. The balcony door did block out a lot of noise too which helped. The shower, TV and everything else worked great. Pricing for Amsterdam was more than reasonable and room was very spacious. Overall a great stay, thank you.

Unfortunately I had a technical issue with the digital check-in. The button to access my room keys didn’t work, and after 3pm reception was no longer available. I couldn’t get the keys from my email or from the Booking.com messages. I tried calling the hotel, but no one was available as the owners were out of the country, so I had to book somewhere else for the night. The next day it was sorted and wasn’t too big of a deal. Housekeeping did a great job and were hospitable. I also think the “Do Not Disturb” signs are a great addition but should be looked at and respected as well as if the door is locked. This would save a lot of embarrassing walk-ins and might make their life easier. I’m autistic so maybe I am just complaining about nothing but since they came at different times daily including when I was just getting up so didn’t reply it was awkward and avoidable.

LIF Boutique Hotel es de esos lugares donde todo encaja de forma natural, sin sentirse forzado. Lo primero que destaca es su ambiente: elegante y moderno, pero a la vez cálido y acogedor. No es un hotel de diseño frío, sino un espacio donde te sientes cómodo desde el primer momento. Las habitaciones no solo son bonitas, sino también prácticas. Todo está bien pensado y no hay nada innecesario. La cama es muy cómoda y el silencio permite descansar de verdad, incluso estando en plena ciudad. Lo que realmente marca la diferencia es la atención al detalle y la hospitalidad. El personal es amable y cercano, siempre dispuesto a ayudar sin resultar invasivo. Se nota que hacen un esfuerzo extra para que la estancia sea especial. Además, la ubicación es ideal: cerca de todo, pero lo suficientemente tranquila como para desconectar del bullicio. En resumen, LIF Boutique Hotel es una excelente opción si buscas una experiencia elegante, cómoda y personal. Sin duda, un lugar al que volvería.

Very nice location, quiet and out of the centre

A jacket I left in the room had bleach spilled on it by a cleaner, leaving a very noticeable white spot on a grey jacket. Shower in our room also barely worked, would have been better off spitting on each others heads of a morning. Both issues were impossible to have resolved as staff are only available 10-3pm (seemingly not on weekends)
