Location is great, an easy tram to city centre Staff were friendly and helpful

The mattress was very uncomfortable, just a foam layer not a proper mattress like you would expect in a hotel

Very comfortable, clean, well-sized room. Very comfortable bed. Location was perfect with close proximity to very good bars and restaurants in Utrechtslaan. Very discrete and private hotel. We liked the staff-free and automated organsation for check-in/out etc.

Although the air conditioning was very good, and the room very quiet without any street noise, there was a constant light hum from outside the room (a generator?). Not loud but irritating. Also, did not like the bathroom and toilet arrangements for lack of privacy e.g. sink kin the main room etc.

Limpieza

Really quiet location out of the busy city centre. Reception staff were excellent and very sweet, offering me chocolate for my birthday! The room was enormous and very nicely decorated. It’s important to note that there is no dining room here, but that suited us really well and there are loads of great little cafes within a 5-minute walk.

The one thing that brings down my rating of this hotel was a very unpleasant experience with the bedding. When we turned down the sheets to get into bed on our second night there was a large blood stain the size of a 50p coin right at the top of the bed sheets, between our pillows. The stain had seeped through to the mattress cover as well. It was late so we ended up turning the matress cover around and re-making the bed so that the stains were at our feet but it was very off-putting. The stain was definitely not there the previous night nor in the morning. We reported it the next morning and while the staff followed up with us that evening, they were unable to say what had happened.
