Lovely rooms and a good choice for breakfast. Staff great. Short walk to The Oval.

Traffic a bit noisy throughout the night, but to be expected on a main road.

Great breakfast with lovely lady. Great gluten free & vegan options. Rooms were spacious and light. Fans provided. Host responds fast and is very accommodating with any issues during the stay. The location is amazing, right next to a station on the Northern Line & Walking distance to Oval & Elephant and Castle. Shops nearby & cash point. We booked a parking space on Just Park that was opposite B&B and very easy to find/park (I have an SUV). Big shout out to the lady doing the breakfast who was so friendly and couldn't do enough for my family (half of which don't speak english). Keys were easy to locate in a keybox and allowed us to check in when we were ready without providing an expected time as we were driving from Stansted. We had an issue whilst staying and the host provided a resolution immediately. House is beautiful and a true English townhouse if you are trying to give a first impression of London (which we were to my parents-in-law) thank you very much Sian!

Only issues we had were the bath wasn't clean upon arrival, the shower leaked on the floor through the glass, and the bath was hard to drain (required a tool which Sian very quickly told us was in the room and how to locate it). Please be aware that there are steep steps if you are traveling with mobility problems and that parking is additional and you must find it yourself.

Highly recommend to have a morning cup of coffee in the property garden. Host Sian was very accomodating. We wanted an early breakfast and she explained access to the fridge, the rations and explained the equipment in the kitchen for us to fix the breakfast ourselves. This was very helpful. Also the B&B is next door to the UG station of Kennington making it very easy to commute.

- great location- 1 min walk from the tube and many bus stops, also about 30 min to Big Ben - very good contact with the owner before our stay with tips how to get to the place etc - option to leave the luggage before or after your stay- very handy - price- expensive for what you get, but good comparing to other places in this area of London

EDIT AFTER OWNER'S REPLY.. 1st of all as a professional place dealing with guests you should take comments in to consideration instead of arguing and stating that your guest lied- full stop. I will not be writing a whole explanation as obviously that makes no sense to you. Just few words about the BATHROOM- yes it was used by someone and whoever used it left their sanitary pads in this bathroom- that's how I know..Is that ok? no.. You let the guests to leave their luggage after check out in the breakfast room which is opposite to that bathroom so everyone have access to it really. I believe as a gusts we leave the comments with either good points or potentials to make things better for owners/ companies and their future guests, it is a pity you do not see it this way. Good luck anyway. A. - bathroom outside the room- it should be stated on the room description, yes- it is only few steps away but passing people going to/from breakfast, through the stairs which are not that safe especially when you need to use the toilet in the middle of the night - bathroom again- it meant to be private but it was not really.. I understand owner has no control but there should be a key provided or something as we left room in the morning and noticed somebody used our bathroom when we got back- we had all our personal private stuff left there- this is not really acceptable ☹️ - breakfast- to say it was basic it's like to say nothing.. very poor all together. The only hot option were boiled eggs which you can prepare yourself-all would be grand with that party only if it worked properly.. Electricity was switching off while machine for boiling eggs and toster were on together... - no option to make coffee or tea- information provided in the room says you can use kitchen facilities to make one, but there was no kettle left in the kitchen to boil the water - noise- from the rooms above- you can hear every single step I am sorry to say that, but it was...
