The Ship Rooms

Good big room with very comfy bed. Good coffee machine and lovely linen. Pizza in the pub downstairs was spectacular as was the service from Aisa.

Room is a bit shabby but linen is absolutely perfect

Friendly staff, food downstairs, very spacious room, lovely and quiet, a bath!

No milk in the fridge :(

Handy for where we needed to be, at a reasonable price.

Lots of steep stairs to get to room.

Great location can walk to south bank, Waterloo and the imperial war museum is just around the corner! super friendly staff, love the decor and good vibes to hang out in the pub below - being on the top floor even with the window open we had no noise issues even though the World Cup was on. The staff are always exceptionally nice and welcoming. Food in the pub is nice. Pillows are SUPER COMFY! Way Above average tea and coffee amenities.

I could not visit again in summer, the heat was unbearable in the upper floor, slept on the floor for the whole stay because the bed was so warm. Had fans in the room but blowing hot air. The plumbing needs maintenance (this is our 2nd stay here) the first stay had water pressure issues so you couldn’t shower if someone else was showering in another room. this stay there was no cold water, if set to cold the shower would just stop, which when the room is above 30 degrees day and night was not ideal (obviously we can’t control the weather and perm air con is expensive but even small portable air con units are definitely needed in the upper rooms) as the windows don’t open more than a third for safety. Also a few general maintenance issues (broken chair / fan needing maintenance as not performing as needs cleaning)
