About this house rental
Situated in a pedestrian street of the conservation area of Sarlat la Canéda, this adorable house has been renovated to an extremely high standard. The decoration is sophisticated and has been carefully though out in detail, and the equipment is of a high quality.
With its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms the house is luxury for 2 and remains very comfortable for 4 to 5 guests. You will enjoy its perfectly fitted kitchen, ideal to cook in all the delicious products of he Périgord and its cosy living room ro relax after your daily visits.
A free vcar park is available only 300m easy walk from the house.
INTERIOR DESCRIPTION:

From the street, go through the wooden front door and on the ground floor you will find:
* a lovely kitchen, fitted with wooden units, a bar, two chairs and a lovely stone vaulted ceiling. It offers a full range of equipment with a fridge freezer, hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Ideal for preparing local produce bought at the market.
* a living room comprising:
- a cosy sitting area with exposed stone walls. A sofa and two comfortable armchairs are set around the imposing stone fireplace. There is a flat screen TV, coffee tables, rugs, wall lights and a crystal chandelier.
- a dining area is set in an alcove and offers a dining table, 6 chairs and a beautiful pendant chandelier.
* a shower room with walk in shower, washbasin and toilet.
A beautiful wooden staircase leads to the first floor where you will find:
* a corridor which loeads to:
- a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing equipment
- a first double bedroom with a double bed (140cm wide), dressing table, and bedside tables and lamps.
- the master suite with:
A spacious and romantic bedroom with pannelled walls and fireplace. It offers a large double bed (160cm wide), dressing table, bedside tables and lamps and a superb guilded mirror and crystal light.

Our group of 5 enjoyed Sarlat while we stayed at Lot of Charm apartment. Apartment had everything we wanted and all the ambience of Sarlat. Very close parking on street and old town is right there. Beds were very comfortable and slept well with windows open. Exceeded our expectations and were well taken care of by team. They gave us info to make arriving easy . Thank you so much for such a great experience!

L’Entracte ranks at the top of several lively VRBO rentals we have enjoyed in France in recent years. The property is every bit as beautiful as advertised. The location - literally steps from the market square of Old Sarlat - was simply perfect for our 11-day stay. To top it off, the folks at the managing agency, En Tous Saisons could not have been easier to work with, or more helpful, before and during our stay. In particular, when a malfunction dead bolt had us licked out on a Sunday afternoon, they were easy to reach and had some there and problem solved very quickly. Most appreciated. In fairness, I would note that those with mobility issues might struggle a bit with the stairs, especially to the top bedroom. However our group of five retirees (ages 67-70). Had no problem.In short, we would return here at the first opportunity and cannot recommend both property and hosts highly enough.

Great little place, darling kitchen, living room, but I didn't quite realize there were such steep stairs so hauling luggage up was a surprise. It was all fine, and it made me realize I like being on one main floor. The apartment is great especially the kitchen!

The property would have been fine for just my husband and myself, but we were accompanied by another couple. They needed separate bedrooms, but could not manage the stairs, especially the 3rd floor.
Not possible for them to go down 2 or 3 flights of stairs to use the bathroom, especially at night.
They moved after one night into a hotel at great expense.
It would be fine for children or teens.
Could be cleaner and upgraded; especially for the cost. The beds and pillows have seen better days.The fireplaces do not look like they have ever been cleaned. The first floor shower made a mess with water spraying all over the floor and under the door.
It is a fabulous location and charming in its own way.
