About this house rental
Located at the end of a small dead end and in the heart of a vast garden of more than 3000m ², the Domaine de Mas Cavaillé is a superior complex of main house and gite offering piece and quiet, lot of charms and great comfort.
Located at the entrance of the domain, the main house is ideal for 6 to 7 guests.
WHEN LETTING IT OUR GUESTS KEEP THE EXCLUSIVE AND PRIVATE USE OF THE HEATED POOL AND GROUNDS (simply means that the Gite is NOT let to anyone else)
HOUSE DECSRIPTION:
On the ground floor, the Main House offers:
* A superb open lounge with two glassed doors for direct access to the pool area:
- on the left side, the large open kitchen is perfectly fitted. It has a refrigerator with drawers, a semi-professional 5-burner gas hob, an oven, microwave, dishwasher. The amount of dishes and cooking appliances is more than generous.
The dining area, with wooden table, allows you to have lunch together indoors.
- on the right side, the cosy sitting area is furnished with two large comfortable sofas, a coffee table, library shelf, flat-screen TV and wood stove, which can be used in mid-season and low season.
* It leads onto a large shower room with a walk in shower, a sink, toilet, washing machine and dryer.
The beautiful wooden staircase from the living room leads to the first floor. The landing distributes successively:
* A first large double room, with a 160cm wide bed, two tables and bedside lamps, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
* A modern bathroom with vanity and large tiled walk-in shower
* A second double room with a double bed, a table and bedside lamp, shelves, a chest of drawers.
* A third large bedroom with a double bed, two tables and bedside lamps, a chest of drawers, a small storage unit, a desk and shelves. It has a glass door leading onto the garden and the terrace overlooking the pool.
* The large hallway offers a play area for children and an office space to work comfortably installed.
* Separate toilets complete this floor.
OUTSIDE

* The PRIVATE swimming pool is ideal for a lazy afternoon. For the comfort of our guests the pool is heated from April to October. It is secured through an electric safety cover. There are sun loungers and parasols.
* There are not less than 4 terraces, all equipped with tables and chairs and dine outside and catch the sun all day long. A large Wever charcoal bbq is availabe for you to use.
* The gardens extend to approximately 3300 m2, and are fully fenced.
* tennis table and basket are available under the old roofed barn
* Parking for up to 4 cars inside of the properties.

We had a wonderful time here, the house had everything we needed, the kids enjoyed the many games and toys, including the ping pong table and foosball, and of course the heated pool. Location is very convenient to the town and shopping nearby for essentials. We appreciated the information on things to do and places to eat. Would love to come back again.

We booked this property for a family get together (all adults) and we had the main house and pool. Whilst initial impressions were positive we found a number of issues we did not expect particularly given the price of the rental.
Having to make the beds I have not experienced in France This is Covid inspired but not necessary now. Given the property has a pool I expected pool towels would be provided. They were not and when I inquired with the manager i was told that the property details did not specify pool towels. The details did not advise you to bring your own! The property had the end of season feel to it. The door handle to the bathroom was coming off. The vanity light in the bathroom mirror did not work. Some plug sockets were loose. The house was cl;uttered with boxes of children’s toys which should have been properly stored.
The washing facilities were surprisingly poor. Upstairs with the bedrooms there was one toilet and one bathroom and shower. Downstairs there was a toilet and shower in the utility room. For a property taking 6 adults this was poor.
The kitchen was a massive disappointment. Whilst on the one hand it appeared well equipped it was cluttered with obvious cast offs from somewhere else. So much clutter limited storage space for food. The Fridge consisted of 2 cool drawers but no icebox (great in 33C temperatures). When we inquired where we could keep ice we were offered the fridge in the other cottage. The BBQ was in poor repair. Not good eneough!
