This is a beautiful apartment with an exceptional location. The space is large, with lots of light, and extremely well appointed. The host provided all of the information we needed - including a map with the free parking lots nearby. Having the outdoor space (with a great view) was a bonus and we enjoyed being able to relax on the patio in the evenings. Guests should be able to handle alot of stairs, and need to coordinate schedules because there was only one set of keys, and you need a key to unlock, and lock both the apartment and buiding doors.

It is a modern, spacious property in a great location. It has the potential to be one of the best VRBOs in Sarlat, however there were deficiencies. On arrival we discovered that the electrical circuits were inoperable in one of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Also, on a very hot day there was only one small fan total for the two non-air conditioned bedrooms. Sebastien, the property manager, was responsive and corrected the electrical issue and provided two more fans the next day. However, the property lacked instructions for anything over than the WiFi password and parking info. Other things such as TV and washing machine we only operated after some effort by trial and error. We were never able to get the stove top or oven to work. They appeared to have no power but without instructions we could not troubleshoot them. We also noted that the floor area where work had recently been done in a bathroom (the apparent source of the electrical problem) was not sufficiently cleaned. All these issues could easily be corrected with a set of house instructions, which we have always been provided in other VRBO properties, as well as by the owner/manager doing a more thorough job of preparing the property beforehand. Frankly this property appeared not to have been used in awhile and was clearly not ready for occupancy when we arrived.
