A place which deserves a compliment

Friendly staff. The dinner was across the street. With a qualified cook, fresh ingredients were used. The taste was pure and not artificial. The combination of ingredients did match and did not mix. The breakfast was good. I read that another customer did find the price for the breakfast too high, I disagree with this customer. The price did comply with the level of quality. The room was clean. The bed was good.

Hard to find something I did not like. The bathroom was small. Maybe someone would prefer something bigger. For me, It did not bother at all, as it was clean and up to date.

The room is nice, very bright and big. Everything in the room was quite comfortable.

It was hard to find the wifi password, finally, I asked a man. Not sure if he is the hoster, but he is quite cold.

Cozy and Chic

The room was very chic, well equipped and located well for the travel purposes. I liked the option to make tee in the room. And the most important aspect, was how kind the host was and willing to help in finding an open restaurant in the area, thing for which I am very grateful.

Without dogs if would have been perfect!

The breakfast was super, even for vegans! The village, house and spacious room were all wonderful/gorgeous. Plenty of walks in the surrounding wooded area. Beautiful lake.

I would have liked to know in advance that the dogs were not allowed on the bed or couch. And that we had to pay extra for them (it wasn't that much), but I thought that they were included in the price.

Very pleasant stay in a very nice little hotell

Room very comfortable and clean. Breakfast excellent. All Staff we met were very helpful and service minded. Also dinner at the hotel restaurant just down the road was excellent. Hotell surroundings very nice, Very quiet area at night.

Modern hotel in quiet, antique town makes for relaxing night.

Gatezimmer Gier was a nice, newly-renovated facility with an excellent location. We LOVED the attention to details on the part of the host-- a bottle of fizzy water and two glasses, a small water cooker with coffee and tea, two small chocolate pieces. The shower had great water pressure and awesome temperature. Just under 800 meters from kronenburger See, we enjoyed a nice walk from the hotel to the sights. Lastly, the breakfast was great complete with bread-spreads, jams, cheeses, veggies, juice, and coffee.

Perfect large room with beautiful surroundings for quiet longer stays.

Room with a lot of space, nicely decorated makes you feel at home. Complementary bottle of water on arrival. Hostess is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with perfectly boiled eggs (which is unusual...). Room ventilator helps when it gets too hot. Nice to come home to after a long walk.

Actually no real complaints - but maybe good to know for some other travellers: There seem to be some issues with the WIFI (which in our case did not make any difference since we did not use it). Good restaurants are not abundant in the neighbourhood.

Auf meiner Radreise eine perfekte Unterkunft. Sehr nette Gastgeberin und angenehme moderne Zimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendessen im Gasthof gegenüber.

Unterkunft ok - junges Personal etwas überfordert

Alles war sauber. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Insgesamt eine gute Unterkunft. Wichtig die Treppe ist sehr steil. Sollte man wissen wenn man vielleicht schon etwas älter ist… Im besten Fall kann man darauf hoffen, dass das Personal einem dann hilft.

Beim abklären des Frühstücks war die Dame im Restaurant etwas überfordert… Als wir uns dann gegen das Frühstück entschieden haben, weil die Freundlichkeit an der Stelle schon zu wünschen übrig ließ und Augen gerollt wurden… Habe ich sie dann darauf angesprochen. Als Antwort kam „so viele Fragen stellt hier sonst keiner…“ Die Fragen beinhalteten, ob es ein All you can Eatbuffet ist oder wenn nicht, was genau im Frühstück für 15 € enthalten sei. Dann ging es zur Unterkunft - Sie ist dann schnell vorne weggelaufen um das Zimmer zu zeigen… Hat kaum ein Wort noch geredet. War sichtlich pikiert dass ich hier nach Augenrollen das Thema aufgegriffen hab . War super kurz angebunden. Als wir dann im Zimmer angekommen waren, meinte sie so hier ist es und damit wären wir beide ja auch schon fertig, da es kein Frühstück gäbe für uns. Etwas ruppiger Stil aber okay… Abgesehen von dem Vorfall mit der jungen Dame hat das Restaurant das zur Unterkunft dazugehört. Einen guten Ruf, was das Abendessen angeht. Haben wir aber dann aufgrund der Unfreundlichkeit nicht getestet.

Für eine Übernachtung auf dem Wanderweg wunderbar.

Frühstück war gut. Das Restaurant für das Abendessen excellent.

Als Hausgast wurde mir ein Platz am Tresentisch zugewiesen, der nach 20 km Wanderung nicht sonderlich bequem war. Man hört dir Bundesstrasse vom Zimmer aus.

Top Unterkunft. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gab 1Fl. Mineralwasser sowie die Möglichkeit sich einen Kaffee oder Tee zuzubereiten. Die Vermieterin hat einem jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet!
