Ideal for a short stay
That's a quite old, outfashined establishment, which however, has fully renovated (both premises and furniture) rooms. The space is limited, but it definitely contains any and all essentials for a decent stay. It's ideal for a quick stay (1-2 nights) if you are on a road trip or a business assignment.
The (only!) one chair in the room could have its upholstery renewed with new fabric or leather. Very shaby....

Simply not worth the price.
The location and the breakfast
Almost everything else. The hotel is basically a run down, has been place that has lost all ambition and sense of reality. Everything is kept at the absolute minimum in terms of functionality, aesthetics, comfort, cleaning and service. This makes it a vastly overpriced experience.

There is no espresso who is important for the beginning of the day. Also we didn't found any espresso near the hotel, so he doesn't matter :)

Spacious accommodation, welcoming people, great food!
The location was great - we wanted to stay one last night in Germany on our driving holiday on our way back to le Shuttle and this was close to our route. The accommodation was very spacious for a family of four and included a kitchen. The staff were amazing - the man who greeted us was very friendly and helpful and checked if we needed to eat as we arrived quite late in the evening. The staff at the affiliated restaurant The Woodstock were very welcoming and accommodating and the food was lovely. The breakfast was really good: a variety of savoury and sweet options.
The accommodation was quite basic and motel style but that was fine for us.
