Prepare your own gourmet meals in the well-appointed kitchen, or dine at waterfront restaurants nearby. A private deck and trail winds down to water's edge. We have a canoe, a kayak aand SUP for guests to explore the protected waters of Secret Cove Inlet. And we're just minutes from Smugglers Cove, a destination for the trails and tidal pools and ocean views. So close to the City, and yet it feels like a world away.

The home is so lovely! Very modern, clean, and cozy. The location is excellent for exploring the southern part of the Sunshine Coast, because you're about halfway between the southern tip and northern tip. That meant that nothing was too far a drive, so it was an excellent home base. It was quiet and calm, and we enjoyed watching the tides in the inlet. Kitchen was very well-appointed and it was great to have full laundry facilities, too. Thanks for the tip to check out the general store in Halfmoon Bay - what a cool spot!

It was our first time at a Vrbo property. Next time I will read all the reviews as this was a basement suite. This property would have been fantastic in the summer, but we went at Christmas when it snowed 12 inches, and the power went out for 12 hours. The owners were not prepared for this type of weather. We tried to contact them, but with the spotty internet and limited cell service, we could not reach them. We were left overnight, with no extra blankets, flashlights or snow removal.
