The weekend we spend in Nanaimo is a bit raining weather, having a hot tub to relax and stay warm is so lovely after harvesting some shellfish at Nanoose Bay. Host also provide massage service at her place with extra charge which is really lovely to have such convenient location

Very friendly owners and very responsive to questions and recommendations. Love how close the house is to the kids playground and got to enjoy my morning powerwalk around Neck Point Park & beach. Serene relaxing environment, spacious and clean suite for family of 4. My kids enjoyed hot tub time after dinner and watched the sunset from the hot tub deck. The only issue for us was ice maker in the fridge wasn’t working when the kids wanted ice cold drinks. Even though there weren’t restaurants within walking distance (especially with kids), easily drivable 10-15mins to good restaurant options.

My husband, sister and brother in law all stayed at this beautiful, spacious basement sweet. We toured Nanaimo, a short trip north towards Parkville. We did 2 trips south towards Victoria. We traveled as a family, including my elderly mother and our teenage daughter. Brian took the time to enquire beforehand about any needs we had and was there to greet us when we arrived. The ensuite was spotless, comfortable and included details to make our stay extra special (little chocolates on the coffee table, fresh garden tomatoes brought to us, the temperature of the hot tub set and sofa bed turned down prior to our arrival, etc. The location was perfect for getting groceries, gas and reaching the ferry the next day (easy 12 mins. drive). We highly recommend this home and host!

We were on a girls' trip and needed a place to stay between Victoria and Campbell River for one night. This location was perfect. Easy to find, and easy to access (we arrived after 10 p.m.). There is a somewhat steep short hill down to the gate, so we just had to be extra careful in the dark. The home was very neat and tidy, and had everything we needed for our short stay. The beds were comfortable (including the sofa bed). We were able to take an early morning walk to Keel Cove/Neck Point Park, for a beautiful sunrise!

We recently moved from Ontario to Nanaimo and needed a place to stay for a couple of weeks before we could move into our new home. The suite met all of our needs - clean, spacious, large living room with gas fireplace, comfortable beds in 2 good sized bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. There is a nice fully fenced outdoor space with BBQ and hot tub. The hosts were friendly and responsive and made us feel very welcome. The closeness to Neck Point Park is a bonus for great walks and trails that are just down the road. We are a family of 4 with 2 adults, 2 teens and 2 dogs and finding a space that accommodates all of our needs isn’t always easy and this suite was a perfect fit!
