The accommodation was nice, a bit misleading. The main bedroom was the living area for watching tv and relaxing in the evening.

Good location in a nice and scenic residential neighbourhood of north Nanaimo. Close to a few beaches (rocky shores, no sand), about 15 minutes drive to central Nanaimo, and 10 minutes to grocery and other stores. This unit is the bottom apartment of a house, owners on site in the top unit, but they remained discreet and replied quickly to email for requests. Check the listing thoroughly, there is no dishwasher or laundry on site (not an issue for us). Kitchen has the basics. Nice back yard with a sheltered table, great for outdoor dining. Picture is a view from across the street, there is a vacant lot that affords a nice outlook.
