Amazing Beach Front - Oceanview townhome style condo at Tanglewood resort in Parksville, British Columbia, located immediately beside the beach access to Rathtrevor Beach. Just steps away from unfettered beach access, sun and sand. Great for easy access and so close there is no need to pack for a day at the beach when 30 steps has you back at home.
Our 1255 sq. ft. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus single mattress fold outs for extra sleepers, condo on the second floor (top floor) enjoys an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings and two private decks (one on the roof) that provides gorgeous ocean and beach views and provides privacy and quiet. Comfortable patio furniture and a stainless BBQ are there for your enjoyment. A king size bed in the ‘master’ suite with en-suite bathroom plus a queen size bed in the adjacent bedroom provides lots of space and privacy. Great for couples and families.
The unit features a large kitchen with all the amenities of home, full size washer and dryer, and complete linen sets and beach towels available for your use. There is also a large secure storage area for bikes, beach toys, skim and paddle boards and whatever else you want out of sight.
This unit provides commanding ocean views and is adjacent to the Rathtrevor Provincial Park. Not only do you have the ocean views, but this unit is quiet and peaceful year round. Sit and watch the bald eagles soar or the deer pecking for food in the park. Steps away from one of the most scenic walking/running/biking trails on Vancouver Island that winds its way through Rathtrevor Park while contouring to the ocean.
Come, unwind and relax at one of the finest locations on Vancouver Island. The condo is in an amazing location. To the left there is Rathtrevor Provincial Park and straight ahead is the view of the spectacular Rathtrevor Beach. The views were breathtaking.The master bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of fans to keep us cool. We found that we did need one on at night..Our couple of issues were that there was only 2 glass glasses and only 5 wine glasses. We really needed the owner buy more for us and he did not respond to our request.Our biggest issue though is the old couch and loveseat. They were so old the springs are felt when sitting on them. There is zero support and all of our backs hurt. We were there for three weeks and ended up sitting on dining room chairs to watch TV.The complex is so quiet and peaceful and would recommend this unit if these couple of items are addressed ASAP.

What a fabulous stay!The place was warm, comforting, clean and welcoming. And what a view!Our host was quick to reply to any questions or concerns we had, though there were few—the place was perfect!

The location and view are perfect. The unit is dated and needs a clean up. Upper level bedroom carpet is dirty. Burned out light bulbs in 4 locations. Walls are not clean and need painting. Not owners fault but a heads up. Allocated parking spot is very awkward to get in and out of particularly in the dark. This led to the scratching of my rental car. Likely 1000. in damage. Living room sofas are most uncomfortable. After 1 month sore backs. Owner did not provide entry code until 2hours before check in. Cause of a lot of anxiety.
