Large 2 bedroom plus loft luxurious cottage in the highly sought after Oceanside Village! Over 1100 sq. ft., featuring fully equipped kitchen, separate dining area and large, spacious living room with queen sized pull out bed, electric fireplace, vaulted ceilings and patio doors leading out to a large deck equipped with Weber gas grill and outdoor dining set. Two large bedrooms with queen beds, full bathroom and laundry area complete the first floor. The loft is furnished with another queen sized bed, and the second full bathroom with walk-in shower.
Amenities at the cottage include complete kitchen facilities, including full-sized refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave, and all of the supplies you'd need to make your family meals complete. As well, a large washer and dryer is conveniently located on the main floor. Cable TV and free WiFi are included with your stay. And the cottage is stocked with and ample supply of linens and towels.
There are decks at both the front and rear of the cottage, which provide plenty of space for guests to enjoy unwinding and dining in the summer evenings.
Oceanside Village Resort has a beautiful indoor pool/hot tub and fitness centre, and is just a short walk from miles of sandy beach and forest trails at Rathtrevor Provincial Park. Also just a short walk away is Tigh-na-Mara Resort, and the world famous Grotto Spa, as well as Riptide Lagoon mini golf for the young or young at heart. The charming city of Parskville is a couple minute drive away, and offers dining, shopping and various festivals and entertainment for the entire family.

Had an amazing time, the place was well set up, everything we needed was there, even had beach chairs which was a nice suprise cause I flew down to the island.

Cristie's property is so clean and comfortable and in the perfect location for easily getting to Parksvillle attractions as well as getting quickly to the hwy to travel either nb towards Port Al erni or sb towards Nanaimo. My family had cozy rainy nights in front of the fireplace while watching movies. The kitchen has tons of counter space and most of the equipment needed to cook up some marvelous meals. The complex is so quiet and feels very safe. The house was also conveniently located close to the garbage and recycle bins. The kids enjoyed swimming at the pool as well. Cristie was very accommodating in allowing us an early check in as the rainy weather put an end to my families plans for a beach day. I highly recommend Cristie's home to rent for a getaway. We loved it!

Overall, the place was good, but needs some work. Dishwasher needs to be replaced - leaked all over the floor the first time we used it, so did dishes by hand for the rest of the stay. Fridge has a noisy compressor that is annoying. The drains in the downstairs bathroom need to be snaked - not draining properly. The pull out couch bed is old & very uncomfortable. Time to put some money back into your property…..people expect more for what you are charging.
