We are situated on Resort Drive within the Tanglewood complex, right on fabulous Rathtrevor Beach, in the heart of the international tourist and golf destination of Oceanside, at Parksville, Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Vancouver Island, particularly the Rathtrevor/Oceanside area, is noted for its spectacular natural beauty, temperate climate and wide range of outdoor activities including outstanding golf courses and deep sea fishing.

Fantastic location.....Mere footsteps to the beach. We have a very unique location with features that few others in the area can rival. Bordered by ocean and forest, we have a remarkably tranquil, private setting. Rathtrevor Beach is renowned for it's magnificent beauty, miles of soft sand and safe, warm, ocean swimming. Couple that with being nestled beside the enchanting old growth forest of Rathtrevor Provincial Park, with its miles of hiking and biking trails meandering along the ocean and through the forest..... and you have a winning combination for a fantastic getaway.

A home away from home... As many of our guests have remarked, our Beach Haven is all that they anticipated and more. This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath condominium is spacious and bright, with over 1200 square feet, cathedral ceilings with skylights and numerous windows. It has all of the conveniences one would expect to find in a luxury condominium. Large, fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, four flat screen TV's, Netflix, 2 DVD players, high speed internet/wifi, gas fireplace, gas barbeque and patio table and chairs on our private roof deck, grassed yard, covered carport, storage area for bicycles etc. The condominium sleeps six comfortably with two queen pillow-top beds in separate rooms and 2 twin beds in another bedroom.

The best of both worlds... The beauty of staying at our Beach Haven is that you have all the advantages of being in the heart of an international tourist destination while still feeling miles away from anywhere in this peaceful, secluded setting where you can watch the deer and rabbits feed at the water's edge, right outside your window. You are less than a 5 minute drive to Parksville and 20 minutes to Nanaimo, approximate population 10,000 and 100,000 respectively.

Fantastic day-trips... Within an approximate two hour scenic drive in any direction, visit the charming capital city of Victoria to the south, stopping in at Chemainus, famous for it's murals and Duncan, the 'City of Totems', go north to the beautiful Comox Valley and smaller islands of Denman and Hornby or head to the wild and rugged West Coast with the world famous Long Beach and it's quaint fishing villages of Tofino and Ucuelet.

Simply relax... A great alternative is to spend your days relaxing on the fantastic beach or exploring the neighbouring provincial park, on foot or by bicycle. Take in the beauty of Rathtrevor, with the ocean set against the stunning backdrop of snow-capped coastal mountains, while Eagle's soar and Blue Herons feed. At day's end, decide whether to fire up the barbeque and dine in on our private roof deck, picnic in the park or enjoy one of the many restaurants in the area. After dinner, choose to either take an evening stroll on the beach or seawall, relax by the fireplace, have a campfire in our designated firepit on the beach, watch for Alaskan cruise ships sailing past, experience one of many local entertainment options or simply stargaze.
