Bright And Spacious 3-Bedroom West Coast Rancher

Clean, quiet and perfectly wonderful. Well appointed kitchen. Alex, the host was amazing and responsive to our questions. We felt really taken care of and made to feel at home. The area is wonderful with a nice view from the back yard and forest and walking trails nearby. Downtown shopping is only 5 minutes drive.

This beautiful spacious rancher was a great place for my workers as well as myself to stay. The large dinning and living area was perfect for cooking and hanging out yet the layout of the bedrooms offered plenty of privacy when one wanted. I absolutely recommend this place for workers and families alike as the fenced backyard offers plenty of privacy for BBQing and for kids to play on the trampoline. One worker even brought his family in for a long weekend with plenty of room for all. A walking trail right beside the house takes you all over the place as well is minutes from all amenities including Porpoise Bay with the marina as well as seaplane services and the beautiful town of Sechelt

Clean house, nice area. Lots of room. We were there for work, so there was three of us. The king bed in the master suite is super comfortable, the bunk beds in the other two bedrooms were a little small. Overall a great stay.

TL;DR: Great space for some and you will likely enjoy your stay – it’s not for everyone, particularly if you have small kids or want to cook.Eva was easy going, mostly hands off. Her instructions were easy to follow, and she left a thank you card for our arrival.It is an open, quiet, and comfortable space to stay, with lots of light and is close to the Sechelt core and attractions. The beds were very comfortable with lovely duvets which was a nice touch.I did have a few issues with the space.One, it was below 5C when we got there because the heat wasn't on. We had been travelling for 16 hours straight and it was the kicker to a long day.Two, the kitchen was hard to use. The small things were few forks or usable pots/pans, to a nearly empty soap dispenser – which I had to buy at the grocery store and no dish towels. The big thing was the stove smoked when we turned it on, and the ceiling fan/vent is so loud and high pitched that you cannot carry on a conversation.Three, I informed Eva of my kids ages, but it really isn’t suitable for young children. 5yr you will be fine, but we had to block the fireplace with chairs as there was no hearth to keep you from walking into the glass and my toddler cut her gum open walking into the sharp bed frame. Regrettably, my 2-yr old wrote on her couch in pen, which was hidden by a blanket. We left 3/18, but was not contacted til 3/31 . I apologized and paid the 1000 she charged me the same day. A disappointing end for both of us.
