Totally renovated and equipped with a private infra-red sauna it is located in a park of 40 ha, exceptional green setting. Ideal to relax in peace and walk in unspoiled nature. Perfect for lovers of golf, horse riding, mountain biking ... 35 minutes from Brussels, close to many tourist sites, Waterloo, Wavre, LLN, Namur, Nivelles ...
The cottage is independent and located away from the castle 200 m. It is equipped with a private infra-red sauna, well-being and relaxation assured! It is ideally equipped to welcome families (baby equipment, ping-pong, board games, books and comics, ...). There is an inner courtyard with garden furniture, barbecue and a garden with play area. Possibility to rent stables and fishing on request prior to booking. Free parking. My husband and I found exactly what we needed in this quiet and private location. The guest house is located on a beautiful estate that has been owned by the same family since its construction in 1893. The gardens and forest area are a joy to walk through and the cottage is comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home. We found the nearby village charming and came to know some of the townspeople well after 10 days. We spent time in the nearby Villers Abbey, took a couple of day trips out of town and many bike rides through the small towns and countryside. Our hosts, Katia and Guillame, were so friendly and welcoming, it was like coming to see old friends. My husband and I have had many stays in many places as we travel for bicycle races, but this particular location and cottage may be our most memorable yet. You don't need an excuse to come here. It will be the oasis and retreat you are seeking to get away from the ordinary life and to experience something very special. These hosts and location have our highest recommendation.

The property was heavenly. With green pastures and sitting areas to enjoy, beautiful animals including horses and dogs, as well as the most friendly hosts you could want, this home was ideal for our trip. We enjoyed our stay, and it was easy to venture out to surrounding cities such as Brussels, Bruges and Charleroi. We definitely would stay here again! Ellen

Our second visit was just as wonderful as our first in 2018. We loved the guest house and the serene setting in beautiful southern Belgium. Our hostess and host are a warm, friendly and accommodating family. The horses, sheep and dog who just birthed 5 puppies added to the charm of this beautiful guest house next yo the chatelet.

Quiet peaceful location - house was perfect for our family. Children really enjoyed the location for outdoor playing, seeing animals and running about - they felt safe and had a great time. The location was close enough to larger towns and the city to be convenient, but was perfect to come home to a quiet calm place.

The house is located inside a private property within the woods. Mrs. de Foy was really nice and attentive, always available for our needs. With all kind of facilities and surrounded by nature, a lovely place to enjoy the coldest days in winter between family and/or friends.

Quiet, completely in green neighbourhood.

As a kid, I was dreaming about a serene house surrounded by green woods, where you can see stars at night through the glass ceiling and where the rooster heralds the sunrise. Little did I know, this dreamhouse exists and is a mere half hour from Brussels.
