All of us, including granny and little baby, were very happy at the comfortable Gîte Nature

We were self catering. The kitchen is well equipped. A good boulangerie was about 15 minutes drive away. The property is in a very quiet, green valley. The host and hostess, who live next door, were extremely friendly and helpful. It is near Villandry château and not far from lots of interesting visits. Lots of lovely little restaurants not too far away.

The only problem was right at the beginning when it was difficult for both cars, travelling separately, to find the place. It is however, convenient for the autoroute. It might be a good idea to stock up in a supermarket before arriving at the gîte, as there is not one very close by.

Charming, large house out in the country.

Charming house, lots of space, newly renovated with fully-outfitted kitchen and plenty of dishes (and dishwasher) that made preparing meals easy. Two full baths, washer/dryer. Cute family of cats lives just outside and would come to visit. Overall, great place for a large family or other group. Host lives on property. Was communicative, responsive, pleasant, and met us upon arrival. Relatively close to most of the attractions along the Loire Valley, but feels very remote; it is really out in the countryside. Beautiful place for walks or bike rides along the Loire levee road.

Wifi was spotty. EV charging is just an outdoor-accessible 240V single-phase regular household outlet. Don't forget to bring a "slow" charger cable and don't expect more than 2kW of power. Need a car. Not close enough to anything to walk or bike, no public transit options in this part of the country, calling a taxi requires a day's advance notice. This may also be a plus, but should be noted in any case. Not at all the fault of the owner, but most mapping apps will direct you to drive down really rough unpaved trails to get to this property. There is one paved road into/out of this location, but you have to "insist" that your navigation app use it.

Super séjour en groupe

Propriétaires accueillants et à l'écoute. Emplacement calme, accès aux bois pour se balader. Grand salon confortable pour être en groupe. Chambres à l'étage, ce qui permet d'avoir un grand espace au rez-de-chaussée pour faire des activités ou jouer. Entre ami.e.s nous avons passé un super week-end dans cette charmante maison.

Naturaleza y tranquilidad

Ubicación en el campo, en plena naturaleza, lejos del pueblo. Noches tranquilas, estrelladas, te hace respirar naturaleza, Cuidado con el GPS q te puede jugar una mala pasada y llevarte por un camino de tierra en vez de por el asfaltado. Con barbacoa y carbón en la casa! Un plus. Dos baños que para 8 que éramos es de agradecer.

La limpieza dejaba algo que desear, ya sea por estar en plena naturaleza o por los animales de la dueña. Parecía que llevaba sin limpiarse un tiempo
