PERFECT AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The home is very beautiful and the hosts were the best! They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, while also giving us our privacy. We had a lovely room on the third floor with a gorgeous view of the river and a very comfortable bed. We awoke to a delicious breakfast of fresh chocolate croissants, bread and apple juice all purchased by the host before we woke up. We also had delicious honey harvested by their neighbor as well as several homemade jams.They live in a darling small town with several restaurants and a gorgeous church. It was all PERFECT!!! I forgot to add that there is a beautiful rooftop jacuzzi!!!

Superb

Extremely friendly owners, shared with us their oven, washing machine, huge table in extra room that we utilized for dining and board games. Lot of space for cars behind the house, nice rooms, and, of course, the jacuzzi :)

Hard to find the place. Would be great to name the place and put some signs, such as arrows to guide guests to car parking place. Windows must be closed at night due to lots of flying insects coming immediately from outside. Makes the rooms so hot that a noisy fan (actually a small mobile aircon) must be running whole night.

Superb

The really warm welcome for our family. The house is located across from the River Loire with beautiful views. The jacuzzi was such an added bonus which the kids really enjoyed. The house is located in a really quaint sleepy French village. We stayed in the Japanese room which the kids loved...so quirky and comfortable. Of course Olaf was also a big hit!

Just across the river and clean

Found out that the jacuzzi wasn’t actually available to use as it is a shared facility and others were already in it. Given we arrived late evening after a long travel it is why we booked this place. But not having access to it was a let down.

Nightmare in the Loire Valley

Friendly hosts

Was in the middle of nowhere..had to drive to towns for ammenities. 1 restaurant nearby, described by the hosts as being 'rubbish'.. Our room had a very small bed, (so small we had to 'top n tail'), which needed moving to be able to get in. No wardrobes..which we then requested and were given a hanging rail which constantly fell over. There were major renovations going off at the hotel..which happened to be next door to our room...with an adjoining door that had no lock. The bathroom door locked you in if you shut it..only openable from the outside. There was no breakfast..which they do say..but still is very poor. We actually booked a different hotel for 2 of the nights ..just to get away, and in the end we left our holiday 4 days early from this hotel. No TV! The drawers in our room were full of their stuff. All in all, i would hope that we get a refund..but not holding my breath!

Herzliche Aufnahme, ein schönes Frühstück, persönliche Hilfestellung bei Gestaltung unserer Besichtigungen, die wir machen wollten, persönlicher Kontakt, die Benutzung des Jacuzzi war ein Extra-Highlight des kurzen Urlaubs.

Das Bett war sehr klein, kein Schrank und auch kein Mülleimer im Zimmer .

Excellent séjour en bord de Loire à l'Odyssée

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à L'Odyssée, une chambre d'hôte que je recommande vivement car nous avons été très bien accueillis par Mathilde et Guillaume qui nous ont donné plein de bons conseils pour faire des balades à vélo et se restaurer (très bon guide d'accueil). Notre chambre, Les Bateliers au 2nd étage, était très confortable avec une literie de très grande qualité. Le bain dans le Jacuzzi nous a fait beaucoup de bien après notre balade à vélo. Le petit déjeuner était 100% local, varié et copieux, nous nous sommes régalés. Un grand merci à Mathilde et Guillaume

Heerlijk relaxed verblijf, goede uitvalsbasis om wijnen te proeven en kopen.

De gastvrouw was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De zolderkamer was veel groter en hoger dan we verwacht hadden. En de jacuzzi was verrukkelijk. We moesten nogal omrijden omdat de dijk langs de Loire opgebroken was, maar daardoor was het ook heerlijk stil.
