A relaxed summer week in a rural, quiet area but nevertheless central for visiting the famous castles and Chinon.
No shade in the garden and no A/C - thankfully we had a less hot week, and always some wind.

We had a lovely stay in the Chocolate suite. Thierry gave us a warm welcome. The room is fine, with practical use of the kitchen and BBQ. Beautiful surroundings for walking.
Breakfast is quite pricey at €14 per person, but tasty; however, it is delivered the evening before, so the bread is stale. We had some butter and jam leftover we wanted to use for lunch. Unfortunately that already disappeared when we came back from a hike. Somewhat disappointing.
