This was a great base for walking the area and exploring the many good places to eat.

Matt was a superb host, he rang the day before our arrival to confirm he was about to text the property details including keysafe code. He explained that he wasn't going to be local to the property so gave the number of his property manager for emergencies. The apartment was well equipped, the electric heaters kept it warm and there was plentiful hot water. The shower had a better flow rate than our one at home!

This property is up two flights of old stairs so wouldn't be suitable for everyone. A couple of minor housekeeping issues were advised to Matt. These seem to have been caused by a previous guest and Matt thanked us for advising of them.

Fantastic location, with an easy flat walk into town and a private parking space.

The most appealing part of this property is the location, a short flat walk to the harbourside and town, and the bonus of a guaranteed parking space to the rear. The property was in good order and well equipped, with the bed being extremely comfortable. It's important to note that it's on the 2nd floor so there are steps up to that and further steps from the living room up to the bedroom, so accessibility may be an issue for some people.

The host was fantastic and was always easy to communicate with. The location of the property was perfect. The facilities were as described. It is an ideal place to stay if you find yourself in Dartmouth.

Well located, clean apartment with comfortable king size bed.

Great location as 5 mins from embankment for passenger ferry,shops & restaurants. We cooked a breakfast each morning during our 4 night break. Kitchen well stocked for that with new frying pans etc. Main bed has a mattress topper and was comfortable.. Very clean apartment on the 2nd floor with bedrooms on an upper level.

Would have been nice to have a footstool and 2 coffee tables

Super location, dated facilities though.

The location was great, walking distance to everything. Having the designated parking space was a saviour, it's a nightmare otherwise to park (we had a second car that we had to keep moving around to park throughout our stay). The living room was big and had a lovely spacious dining table which is good if you plan on eating in like we did a few times. Good communication from the owner.

The shower was horrendous and probably the worst shower I have ever had! It was a trickle and kept getting super hot and then really cold within seconds. It was so inconsistent and so you couldn't really have a proper shower. The building is old and the floors are uneven, so the beds were on a slope. The travel cot was broken so the baby had to sleep in our bed (although this wasn't that much of an issue and the owner did try to ring me to sort out but we were out and about at that point).

Perfect location in the gorgeous old town with the bonus of parking.

Perfect location on edge of beautiful old town. Just a few minutes walk to waterfront, ferries, great pubs & restaurants etc. Dedicated parking space. Modern & nicely decorated.

Shower was a dribble (appreciate it’s an old building). Bedroom v hot (they are essentially in the attic), despite weather not that hot during our stay & fan provided. Need to take great care on stairs as steps are very narrow (left light on for going down to the loo at night). Ok if you are fit & mobile (& sober!).

Location was stunning. Apartment was of excellent quality with home comforts . All our needs were met . We would definitely stay here again. We were most happy with everything the apartment had to offer .

It was ok. But overpriced.

It was near to the river area. Good for boat trips and the ferry across to the steam train. The beds were very comfortable. Lovely crisp white bedding.

Smelt very musty in the entrance hall but luckily it got better the higher we got. The 30 stairs were a bit narrow for us oldies. The shower would alternate between freezing cold and boiling hot. Nothing in between. The tv signal was bad with it pixelating for the majority of the time. The sofa was uncomfortable. Didn’t look like it had had a thorough hoovering. Definitely not as described online.

The hotel is more private room not a hotel and is a good location with very steep stairs and floors all angled not level. the room was comfortable and close to everything.

Unfortunately the hot weather, made the bedrooms stifling. There were good fans, but the small bedroom was really uncomfortable… had to sleep on the settee downstairs…not ideal!

Easy to collect the keys and the apartments are in a great location for the town centre. Having parking is a big plus.

location is fabulous - very central

don’t go if you are unfit or have mobility issues - we knew these were top floor flats so not a bother but it’s a way up with your luggage and shopping - ps please supply larger mugs and an egg slice in the kitchen

We really enjoyed our stay. The duplex made the apartment feel bigger than expected.

Location is excellent - central and convenient - short walk everywhere! Well appointed apartment with all mod-cons (including large shower). Parking space behind really useful and can imagine invaluable if there in the summer. Excellent comms with owner who was helpful and available when needed. Didn't mind walk up to second floor for front door to accommodation.

Found the sofa bed in the living room quite hard to sit on for any length of time. Twin room was very small with sloping ceiling too (although good use of limited space). Not really suitable to 2no adults sharing but fine for kids. Floors not level given age of house so one bed on a bit of a slope.

A well appointed duplex with everything you need and with a great location only a few minutes walk from the centre but far enough away that there was no late night disturbance or noise. A bonus is the parking space to the rear of the property.

The apartment we stayed in was really nice, but it's on a slant, which is quite disorientating. This is possibly due to the age of the building. We had a good stay though - excellent location, clean and very quiet.

Great location.

Location was amazing. Although we had our aged mother with us so many flights steps were hard. Other than that the quirky slant of the apartment and decor were great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Didn’t realise there were so many stairs. Fine for 3/4 guests.
