Wonderful host, fantastic breakfast and great value.

Wonderful host and very eclectic art throughout the house. Also the breakfast was superb.

I didn’t really like the street parking. Also lots of stairs to get up to the room.

Excellent place to stay for Roubaix, 15 minute walk to the Main square, nice breakfast, excellent hospitality. Would recommend. Elderly or infirm may struggle with the stairs but this is a very good traditional french bed and breakfast

Feel like a friend...

Very nice guesthouse, you feel like a friend. The owner, Mr. Cevallier, can give you lots of information concerning architecture and art. Very good (French) breakfast with home-made jam and confiture. Free parking in the street is possible. City centre can be reached within 15 minutes by foot.

Excellent breakfast selection. five breads. 6 jams, fruit, the lot. Close to Metro nut could be difficult to park nearby until mid evening.

A lovely return stay!

This was our second stay, and we were delighted to return. We were made very welcome, and our room was extremely comfortable. The house has a lovely atmosphere, and breakfast was excellent. The street is quiet, and the neighbourhood is attractive. At the same time, it is very well connected - both to the centre of Lille, and to rail and bus routes to other nearby towns. It is a really nice place to stay.

Une très jolie maison dans les faubourgs de Roubaix.

Une maison au calme, très joliment décorée, avec beaucoup de caractère et mille choses à découvrir. La chambre et la salle de bains étaient très bien équipées. Il ne manquait rien: nous avions même des coton-tiges et des bonnets de douche à disposition! La douche est très grande. Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir nous préparer un petit encas grâce à la bouilloire et au micro-ondes. Il y a également du café, du thé, des couverts, des chips... à disposition des deux chambres, et aussi un mini-bar (avec supplément). Le petit-déjeuner était très généreux; impossible de tout finir!

Il faut avoir conscience que la maison est un peu excentrée. A pied, il faut une trentaine de minutes en venant du centre-ville, mais c'est faisable. Il y a deux chambres au deuxième étage. Lorsque l'on est sur le palier, au coin café, l'intimité n'est pas garantie.

On se sent chez soi

Accueil discret, chaleureux et efficace. Ça fait tellement plaisir. Un petit déjeuner copieux, varié et avec des produits frais et un grand choix de thé. Une maison typique avec une décoration qui est une véritable invitation au voyage. Des chambres cosy décorées également avec goût, avec tous les équipements pour le confort (bouilloire, micro ondes, mugs, sèche cheveux …). Des petites attentions (tisane, thé, café) qui couronnent le tout. En bref, on se sent chez soi !

Excellent séjour dans un lieu propre, confortable et chargé d'objets d'histoire.

Franck est un hôte accueillant et bienveillant. Il connait très bien sa ville et de très bon conseils pour les lieux à visiter. Petit déjeuner gargantuesque et trés appréciable. Chambre propre, avec tout le confort nécessaire. Il y'a même un micro onde et bouilloire avec un set café/thé de bienvenue. Un hôte discrètement présent. Merci Franck.

Relatie met booking.com: booking.com inde het bedrag via de creditcard, terwijl daar alleen de reservering plaats had moeten vinden. Betaling was bij de gastheer. Dit was niet goed afgestemd.

Für eine Zwischenübernachtung prima

Sehr freundliche Vermieter, sehr bequemes Bett, super funktionierende Regenwalddusche, vollständige Küche, ruhige Gegend, Parkplatz vor der Türe, konnte den gesamten Inhalt meines Autos im Wohnzimmer stehen lassen.

Wirklich SEHR steile Treppen. (Siehe Foto) Studio war im 3. Stock. Ziemlich unsichere Gegend, deshalb sollte man nichts im Auto lassen

Aanrader in Roubaix

Heel erg leuk ingerichte B&B. De eigenaar is duidelijk een verzamelaar, maar dat maakt het interieur alleen maar leuker. Ontbijt is uitgebreid en lekker met een enorm aanbod aan goede thee en jams. Kamers zijn duidelijk geknutseld, maar hebben daardoor erg veel charme. Alles was prima schoongemaakt en niks kapot. De eigenaar is erg aardig, en behulpzaam. Wij vonden dit een erg leuke plek om te overnachten. Restaurants zijn wat verder weg van de accomodatie, maar ook maar een kwartiertje lopen. Metrostation zit vlak om de hoek.

1 mug in de slaapkamer. Verder viel niks tegen.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Wunderschönes Haus. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Individuelle, kreative Ausstattung. Ruhige Lage. Kostenfreier Parkplatz in der Straße. Zu Fuß 1 Minute zur Metrostation nach Lille. Zur Trambahnstation zur Villa Cavour 5 Minuten. Zu Fuß zum Musee Piscine 15 Minuten.

Mückengitter an beiden Fenstern wären super, um in heißen Nächten beide Fenster öffnen zu können.
