Good location with great views across the lake

Location was next to the main road along the side of Lake Garda, just short of the main part of Torrie Del Benaco, easy to find with off road parking on site. Torri is a good location with either end of the lake easily accessible in about an hour. The 2nd floor balcony was west facing with great views across the lake and a good place to sit and watch what was going on in that part of the lake. Continental breakfast was varied with a great choice of items. Shower was a good size and bathroom very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This was an exceptional hotel, in all aspects, to only have two stars. The cleanliness was second to none: the quality and choice of dinner menu, as well as price, was excellent. The choice of food available at breakfast could not have been better. We have nothing negative to say about Hotel Garden. Grazie per tutti.

A charming, friendly hotel just a few steps from the beach. The hotel is of older design and standard but this just adds to the charm and atmosphere. The staff are all very nice and helpful.

No hot water during entire stay, rear view although almost all of the rooms have windows to beautiful Garda lake. We are a newly weds, got separate small beds and one towel set. The host did not care much about the complaints (showering in cold water is not fun if you are not used to it). Overall, do not recommend. Price for such service was way way too big.

Better breakfast, not having to pay extra for a expresso.having a choice not being served a little plate with a slice of cold cuts and everything being counted.not being told to go to a 5 star hotel,because Swiss people have a lot of money.and ot being told that we eat to much and coffee is very expensive in Italy.the owner having the et in his mouth, when he speaks to you.

Great 2stars hotel in front of the lake

The view from the room and balconies was perfect! The owner was flexible concerning our stay (we had to make a change after the booking, three people instead of two) and the breakfasts were really good, a lot of different choices (egg, ham, jam, cereals, bread, yogurt, cheese, fruits, biscuits,…)

We were three people and the breakfast tables were set up for two, we therefore had to move the dishes and food already in place on one to another to be able to sit together. One person of the staff didn’t took it well and made us an angry comment about that. Not the kind of words that feels good in the early morning. Except for that, the rest was perfect.

Our room had a perfect view from the lake, good AC, amenities in the bathroom… location and breakfast were also perfect!

Reception is closed after midnight. You cannot easily enter in the hotel after 00:00… we had to take the key from the hotel so we could get inside again. We also helped other guests to come inside after late in the evening, as they were locked out

A charming lakeside hotel with a few quirks!

For a 4 night stay on Lake Garda, the hotel and its location couldn't have been any better. Our rooms were very comfortable and kept spotlessly clean, we had great views of the lake from our balconies and enjoyed a really tasty breakfast every morning ,including fruit, bread, ham, eggs, cheese served by a really friendly and hospitable waitress ....just lovely. The hotel was nice and quiet and being just 10 mins walk away from town and all the cafes and restaurants its location could not have been any better, there was no need to use our hire car most days!

Not things we didn't like but more things to be aware of as the hotel is a little quirky in parts Although we didn't have a problem, be aware that the advertised on site car parking is quite limited and was full every day even though the hotel wasn't. If you weren't back by 6-ish basically there were no spaces. Entrance gate and hotel doors are locked promptly at midnight, we were nearly caught out after having that 'one for the road' Aperol Spritz in town! Reception is never manned! We got used to hanging up our room keys on departure and helping ourselves to them on our return. Also, be aware that the manager speaks very limited English so you need to be quite resourceful if like me, your Italian is not that great, to make sure there are no mis-understandings! We had to leave early at 07.00 to get back to the airport, despite having told him a couple of times (and seemingly understood) we found the hotel entrance gate locked and had to find him to wake him up to unlock it, which he seemed to be completely surprised about! A funny memory to look back on!

Clean, good service, good price/quality!

Everything is clean,quiet and we had a view at the lake wich was great! They have had already prepared the extra bed for our daughter, even if we didn t ask for. Thanks!

We had a problem at the end with the payment, the owner said that the payment is not done, because he was trying to retrieve 184 euro instead of 180 euro (4euro extra city tax wich we paid afterwords cash,aside the main bil), and we ve lost around 1hour for this problem, so he was aspecting us to pay in cash again the full amount wich is not normal, if the payment is not done few days before check in date.He tryed again with 180 euro and it worked, after all this we almost forgot the identy cards, becouse they kept them as a guarantee, what again I dont see normal.We could use a fridge in the room with this warm time. Regarding the money at the end, we had a breakfast to pay wich is 11 euro, but he kept 15 euro, explaining that is 15 if is not taken together with room, but one evening before he said that the price is 11 euros nothing about 15,wich seems a lot for a decent breakfast.After asking it, he gave me the corect change, I am taking this as a usual mistake, but it seems like he wants to put his hand in your pocket at the end, yeah for nothing, few euros, but is the act not the money.This gave me a sad feeling. Ps:Wach out if airco doesn t start, is because one of the doors is open, close all windows and doors before pushing start on the remote that is on the wall.

Ich hatte Glück, und der Blick ging, obwohl ich im Hinterhaus war, auf den See. Die Hauptstraße dazwischen ist nicht zu verhindern. Zu geräuschempfindlich sollte man also nicht sein. Ganz gutes Restaurant. Personal freundlich und bemüht,... aber (unten)

...teilweise war das Personal nur bedingt kompetent. Einer Freundin hatte ich ein Zimmer reserviert, sie wurde weggeschickt weil man dachte, sie müsse ein Mann sein. Am letzten Tag wollte ich gerne eine Rechnung. Das fand man völlig absurd. Es würde immer der EC-Kartenbeleg ausreichen. Das Wlan war sehr schlecht, quasi nicht zu nutzen.

Ein wunderschöner Kurzurlaub am Gardasee in einem familiär geführten Hotel mit sensationellem Essen!

-Direkte Strandlage (nur durch Bundesstraße getrennt) mit Blick auf den Gardasee und Torri del Benaco -das Einzelzimmer ist sehr klein, einfach und nicht modern, aber zweckmäßig ausgestattet mit einem sehr kleinen Balkon, im kleinen Bad ist alles funktionsfähig vorhanden (Dusche, Bidet, Waschbecken)---alles war immer sehr sauber und gepflegt -das Frühstück (Buffet) ist sehr reichhaltig und liebevoll-ansprechend hergerichtet, frisches Obst, Kuchen, Gebäck, verschiedene Semmeln und Brotarten, Toast, Wurst und Käse, Marmeladen, Honig, Müsli, Eier zum selberkochen, Fruchtsäfte, verschiedene Teesorten, Kaffeemaschine mit viel Kaffeeauswahlmöglichkeiten......einfach super! -Das Abendessen ist unglaublich gut! Wer es so richtig original italienisch liebt, ist hier genau richtig! Es war hervorragend, molto molto buonissimo !!!

Ein tolles Hotel mit einem sehr, sehr gutem Restaurant.

Das Hotel hat eine ganz tolle Lage direkt am See. Der Garten vor dem Haus mit Blick auf den See mit Liegen unter Olivenbäumen. Der Service ist super. Die Bar hat den ganzen Tag geöffnet. Das Restaurant müssen wir besonders erwähnen. Wir haben noch nie so gute Muscheln gegessen. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr gut und reichlich. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen

Wir nicht nochmal

Frisches Obst zum Frühstück. Eier durfte man sich selber im großen Eierkocher zubereiten. Auswahl am Buffet war ok. Nähe zu den umliegenden Restaurants und Bars top. Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich, sprachen aber nur italienisch.

Unser (2 Einzelbetten) Zimmer war grottig. Tapeten und Einrichtung uralt. Klimaanlage kühlte nur den Kleiderschrank. Kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Badezimmer nur einzeln begehbar. Auf dem WC sitzend waren die Füsse in der Dusche. Wasser entweder nur heiß oder nur kalt. Uralte Steckdosen locker in der Wand. Wurden nachts durch Hundegebell geweckt obwohl Hunde im Hotel verboten. Gäste kamen mit den Hunden auch zum Frühstück. Obwohl Nichtraucherhotel stehen in den Zimmern benutzte Aschenbecher. Lampen zu schwach um den Safe im Schrank bedienen zu können (der Safe war allerdings Brandneu).

Schöne Lage mit Parkplatz, Ortskern fußlaufig gut erreichbar. Sehr schön der Balkon mit Seeblick (wir hatten Zimmer in der Dependance). Frühstück sehr gut. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Prijemny hotel kusok od historického centra mesta,rovno cez cestu je pristup na plaz,v zahrade lehatka so slnecnikmi,prijemny oddych medzi olivovnikmi a citrusmi.Vlastne parkovisko rovnako medzi olivovnikmi takze nic pre neskusenych soferov:) Ranajky na 2* hotel super a viac nez dostacujuce.Sucastou hotela je aj vlastna restauracia,jedlo bolo chutne,ceny normalne. Izba sice vyzera spartansky ale kupelna je pekna nova a ten vyhlad na jazero z balkona vynahradi vsetky mozne nedostatky!

Stare zariadenie v izbe,ale vsetko funkcne,jedine matrac nebol velmi pohodlny,chladnicka na izbe by potesila ale nie je to nic co by pokazilo pobyt,radi sa sem vratime!

Perfektes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in bester Lage und sehr gutem Frühstück

Das Hotel bietet ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für den Preis geht es nicht besser. Über die Strasse sind Sie direkt im See. 5 min zu Fuß im Zentrum und 10 min zum nächsten Supermarkt. Das Frühstück wird zeitnah aufgefüllt, auch wenn man spät dran ist. Das Angebot ist absolut ausreichend und bietet vor allem Süßes, mit frischem Kuchen etc.. Der Kaffee schmeckt perfekt (für mich). Es ist alles sehr gepflegt, sowohl der Außenbereich, als auch die Zimmer. Kostenloses Parken am See.

Als Alleinreisende Deutsche hätte ich deutsches Fernsehen begrüßt. Es gab auf meinem Zimmer ausschließlich italienische Programme.

Perfekter Aufenthalt in Torri

Das Zimmer war extrem sauber und auch die Außenanlage ist sehr gepflegt. Habe ich selten wo erlebt und das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse völlig ausreichend. Es gab sogar frische Kirschen. Die Lage ist top, man ist in wenigen Gehminuten im Zentrum. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier absolut. Kostenfreie Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung.

Ein Ganzkörperspiegel hat im Zimmer gefehlt. Aber dies ist meckern auf hohen Niveau.

Szuper szálláshely a Garda-tóhoz érkezőknek!

Nagyon barátságos, családi hotel. Rendkívül kedves személyzet! A reggeli bőséges és finom! A szobánkat minden nap rendbe tették, törölközőket cseréltek, a tisztaságra nagyon figyelnek! A szobából csodás kilátás nyílik a Garda-tóra, a hotelból kilépve már szinte a parton voltunk. A komp 200 méter a hoteltól, ami nagyon jól jött kerékpártúránkhoz. Fantasztikusan éreztük magunkat és bátran ajánlom kerekpárosoknak, túrázóknak és nyaralni vágyóknak is!
