Fabulous location and a wonderful classic hotel with lovely staff.

Loved the location, loved the breakfasts. Loved that it was an original old Italian hotel with service to match. The ladies in the dining room at breakfast were so helpful and wonderful at their jobs. Doreen and Martina at reception were very welcoming. Having parking so close to the hotel was a real bonus. It’s a short walk from the car park to the harbour where the hotel is located. Keep an eye out for the car parking on the righthand side just before the post office as you come from the Garda direction. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable.

No air conditioning in October as per local regulations - room was warm particularly as the heating came on during the night and Martina in reception, kindly arranged for us to have a fan in our room.

Fabulous stay on Lake Garda.

The room was a little small but very functional. Well decorated and appointed. The view of the lake from the room was wonderful. The breakfast was everything you could want. Attentive staff. Spectacular room with white table cloths with views of the little harbor and lake. The location of this hotel is great as it is located in the heart of Torri del Benaco. Steps away from the ferry for a day trip on the lake.

It was difficult finding the parking lo when arriving by car. Their webste and instructions should let guests know that the driveway/entrance is next to the Post Office on the SR249.

Best possible location, balcony overlooking the lake and the castle. Very good sound proof rooms, could not hear any other guests even it was fully booked. They have a parking near by. Breakfast was in an amazing balcony. Also staff noticed that it was my birthday and we found a bottle of Prosseco in a room with a birthday card.

Beautiful location and views, although parts of the hotel felt a bit dated.

Beautiful location, right on the harbour in the centre of the village. Nice view from room. Very nice bar & terrace right in front of the hotel.

The hotel and room felt a bit dated and in need of some modernization, especially the bathroom. Beds were too soft for us too. Sure the hotel is old-school classic charm, but at this price I would have expected a more upmarket experience.

We loved this picturesque hotel in charming Torri del Benaco.

We stayed for 4 nights in a balcony room overlooking charming harbour and castle of Torri del Benaco. It was a beautiful outlook and I sat reading on the balcony every afternoon/evening. The ground floor terrace is also lovely. There is so much to see around Lake garda that we easily filled 4 days with day trips in the car to Verona, Sirmioni, Madonna della Corona Sanctuary, and Mount Baldo. The breakfast buffet was good and we also enjoyed the first floor breakfast terrace overlooking the harbour. There are plenty of restaurants nearby the hotel with many options for dinner. We had a car, and while the Hotel is in the pedestrian old town, they have a gated car park nearby and the hotel staff transported our luggage to and from our car in an electric golf buggy when we checked in and out which was helpful.

Our stay was idyllic, magical and something we will never forget.

We stayed at the hotel for our honeymoon and were welcomed with a bottle of champagne in our room which was a lovely touch. The room was superb with a beautiful view from the balcony. It was also very spacious and the en-suite was excellent. The morning breakfast was top class as was the lady overseeing the service. All the staff were very helpful. The location of the hotel is outstanding. We are definitely coming back.

Came to attend our friends wedding and to celebrate our anniversary, hotel as described, then we got to the room.T It was okay, clean enough and had a nice enough view over the harbour. Went to the room to sleep, the "large double bed" that we had paid £160 a night for was in fact two single beds pushed together. I have travelled A LOT worldwide, mostly in Europe I am aware that many hotels convert twins to doubles. THE PROBLEM WAS THERE WAS NO FASTENING ON THE BASE, AND THERE WAS NO TOPPER ON THE MATTRESSES TO HOLD THEM TOGETHER. So the first two nights, the beds slid apart repeatedly, resulting in me & my partner trying to sleep on separate sides of the bed but when we moved in our sleep, we fell in between the beds onto the floor! Got less than a few hours sleep on both nights! This was raised with the property with Doreen on the second morning of a 3 night stay, who assured us she would speak to house keeping to get us a double mattress. We returned in the late afternoon only to be told this was not possible and the hotel was fully booked. Doreen did nothing to resolve this, shrugged her shoulders and didnt help. Asked for the manager Mirko to call me and to this day, 8 days after check out I havent heard from him. We advised we would need to change hotels, we were point blank refused any resolution,empathy, or refund, she just demanded the travel tax! We found another hotel next door HOTEL DEL PORTO, which Doreen didnt tell us about when we asked. She should spend a day with them to learn some basic customer skills from the experts. Home now for over a week, 5 hours on the phone to booking.com executive team and no resolution. Have raised a dispute with my C/C company who are going to claw the money back in 60 days with the evidence provided. Still nothing from Mirko, not even an apology. Had to leave a day early to Hotel Del Porto and spend another £150, so in total 700 Euro for 3 nights, 2 of which we didnt get any sleep.

Amazing location right at the marina of Torri and right across from the Castle. Perfectly located to explore the village on foot. Parking right around the corner, privately owned by the hotel. Restaurant with seating right out on the piazza.

Four Days on Lake Garda perfect.

The best location on Lake Garda. Area quiet as pedestrianised. Town has plenty of restaurants and the hotel has a good bar. Easy to get from airport. Staff very helpful.

A stay in the broom closet

Booking was OK, communication was ok. private parking is in some close walking distance, location of the hotel is great, just spot on, in in the middle of where you want to be. Breakfast ist super-good! Staff is helpful and friendly. Location and room is very clean.

The room! You may get such a room when you just book for one night, as we did. It was clean, nice equipped and facing rear side / a small alley (as we may have booked). There's the problem: The room itself is just too small! Its a better broom closet without ventilation. If you have windows shut (due to noise) you suffocate! There's just not enough air supply for two people for the night! Opening the window exposes you to the kitchen noise (kitchen is just below your room). All in all, the hotel appears to be quite good. We may just have been unlucky to get the broom closet. The question I ask myself: Would I come again: for a longer stay, it may be Ok, but I would need to check what room I get upfront!

Excellent position in the heart of this lovely town. Great breakfast on the balcony at the first floor of the hotel which is located in a very ancient historical building with a beautiful view on the harbor and on the castle
