Great location, nice stay

The staff was very nice, and helpful. Room small but comfortable. The heating was working well. The breakfast was good. Great location near the train station.

Smell from the bathroom at some times, and the fact that there is no sound isolation between bathroom and the room. And since it is very small, you are practically entering the bathroom from the bed.

Super stay

Perfect location from the ferry port. The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke a little English which is helpful. The room was clean and tidy all usually facilities, a coffee pod machine with good quality coffee. . The shower was good although the water pressure was a little slow. The bed was very comfy.

Convenient location

Review of thurs 04.01.23: Room 105 The original boutique hotel le Marignan Le Havre France. Very close to the main train station. The room was modern with a safe coffee machine, soundproof windows facing the tram line. The bathroom was very nice with a walk-in shower, mirror with built-in light and heater for steam, and glass barn door to separate from the room. Self closing toilet seat lid. The reception staff Massi was friendly. Massi was kind enough to inform us they wouldn't charge us for a booking date made in error for tues 2 Jan for 1 night. Free Wi-Fi is available. We did not have breakfast. Thank you very much in the French language: Merci

Nothing extra. If you only come for a short stay, for work for exaple, it will do.

Location. Breakfast was basic, but okay (although egg cooker didn't always work). Food was always replenished. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Rooms are tiny (hence boutique) and very basic. There weren't enough clothes hangers provided. Also in bathroom there is nothing to hang towels or clothes on. One type of uni-soap for everything in bathroom. The sink in the bathroom is very small. Nowhere to put the toiletries. Shower has no door (only partly covered) so everything gets soaked. Only French TV channels available. It was always freezing cold in the breakfast area (was visiting in mid-March). I was on the top floor, so the noise didn't bother me much, plus tram was not working (because the demonstrators burned it down). Someone was smoking in one of the rooms and they stunk up the whole upper floor.

It was not super clean. It was dusty, some marks on the walls from some kind of fluid? and there was a weird smell. Also inconvenient shower, only partly covered so the floor got quite wet.

Lovely room, very spacious with a big balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great to have a lift as was travelling with an elderly person.

Nice for a little weekend

Nice room, big shower, big room. Cute balcony, despite the cold. Very friendly staff,. Good breakfast, nice bar. Lot of restaurants nearby. Just next to the train station. Early check-in. The availability to have a taxi in a few minutes even on Sunday. Someone conducted me to the room when I arrived.

The room floor was really dusty and the double bed with two mattress put together is not really comfortable. As the room was at the end of the hallway, there was some noise coming from the building nextdoor

What you need for a night

Easily accessible Rather comfy bed and nice Italian shower If you're lucky, you can find a parking spot (payant) just in front. Very friendly staff and willing to help.

The heaters in the room and breakfast room weren't making any difference. It was rather cold over night and freezing at breakfast. The view from the window wasn't great. The breakfast was good, but a bit expensive for the offer, in my view. Also it would be great to have some vegetables available with all the cheese and meat. The vibe of the hotel is like an old abandoned building somehow, doesn't have a cosy ambiance. It has a café downstairs but doesn't feel inviting. Elevator is small and very slow.
