JOST lives up to its name (Joy of Sharing Together)

JOST is perfectly situated at the junction of Quartier Danton and the Gare District, in Le Havre. The six restaurants Food Court concept is perfect for the varied tastes of the clientele. Breakfast was delicious and ample. The room was just the right size for the five of us who spent the night.

My only concern was that there seemed to be only one shower in the room, though that didn't present a problem for those present during my stay.

It was a good, comfortable and convenient stay. A few improvements would have made it even better.

The rooms were great, I loved the overall set-up, privacy, showers, space and storage. The location was also very convenient, with everything in walking distance. I loved the access to a common area with space to relax, cook and do washing. However, they were not maintained and kept clean.

Some of the staff members could’ve been friendlier. The beds were a little hard for me as well. I would like to see the processes improved around extending your stay, I extended by a day with the front desk and still had three staff members wake me and tell me I needed to check out and leave the room, when I had already organised my stay prior. Additionally, I was in a mixed dorm and I was put in a room alone (as a young female) with an older male that was acting strange, I’m not sure how this was even allowed. I asked to move and there was little flexibility to move and took a lot of persuading and for me to become upset for any action to be taken. More care around this and perhaps another all-female dorm would improve this experience in future.

Bed were ok, I liked the way it’s designed to have some privacy in a shared room.

The breakfast was not satisfying, as it was almost empty when I came at 8:30, no bread for example. Additionally the bathroom was not very clean.

Le fait d’etre tou.te.s dans la même chambre, l’intimité de chaque lit, l’architecture avec le béton brut apparent, les casiers dans l’entrée, le personnel très sympa.

Le fait de ne pas pouvoir réserver des lits dans des chambres (sans avoir à reserver toute la chambre).

Porter plainte et à faire fermer

Les autres hôtels sont pareils en plus cher.

Chaque client doit porter plainte pour la fermeture de l'hôtel Jost Melt Groupe Le Havre. Faites attention à vos coordonnées bancaires, à votre mail, aux femmes de ménage et à mettre en commentaire de porter plainte. Le nombre de plaintes qu'ils ont reçu aurait dû déjà les faire fermer et renvoyer les pupilles des employés de l'hotel. Les autres hôtels du havre ne sont pas mieux. Ne pas s'attendre à autre chose.

J’ai aimé l’emplacement, le personnel très gentil, le pris dortoir, le food court convivial

J’ai moins aimé le fait que le lavabo était plus ou moins à bouché dans le dortoir, et qu’avec les plafonds en béton, il y a une mauvaise insonorisation le matin (à moins que ce ne soit mes colocs de chambre qui faisaient un bruit terrible le matin)

Es un alojamiento para mochileros donde alojan personas en la misma habitación compartiendo baño. Las camas son como cajas donde echas una cortina para tener algo de privacidad, muy agobiante dormir así. Poner atención a si tienes que compartir baño.

To avoid, chose an AirBnB instead

- Tout était propre ! Même dans un dortoir . - Le food corner asiatique est top et les petits déjeuners (même si un peu cher) sont tops. - j'ai fait de très belles rencontres - la partie "appartement" est très cool (même si on m a volé deux pizzas ..... ) - Bibi, Emi et les autres personnels d entretiens et de staff (je pense à une jeune dame dynamique, polie et sympathique et respectueuse)

- le staff de la réception est top SAUF le monsieur à l entrée.... déjà il se permettait de me tutoyer sans me demander....là je cite, il m a dit en hurlait - dégage, dégage, dégage - et ce n'est qu'un seul explemple La direction a même interdit de prolonger mon séjour alors que j'étais là pour des raisons familiales (décès de ma mère). Là seule fois où j'ai été désagréable était le premier jour de mon arrivée, le lendemain j'ai présenté mes excuses qui ont été acceptées. Une femme m a poussé alors que j'ai des problèmes graves de dos, c'est arrivé par deux fois, la seconde fois je suis tombé- c'est grave dans mon cas de santé.... et c'est à moi qu'on m a demandé de partir comme un mal propre (personne, même le personnel ne m a pas aidé à me relever.....).

Bei meiner Ankunft im Hotel wurde ich von einem freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Personal empfangen. Der Check-In-Prozess verlief schnell und reibungslos. Man wurde mit allen notwendigen Informationen versorgt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Das Betten war bequem. Restaurant im Haus. Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine große Auswahl.

C'est ma première fois en hostel et j'ai trop aimé l'ambiance conviviale :) le staff était très gentille aussi !

C'est facultatif mais peut être proposer des petits savon/shampoing à acheter pour dépanner. Des serviettes pour la douche et toilette aussi.

Das Frühstück (Aufpreis 11 Euro) ist spektakulär. Die Lage nah zum Hauptbahnhof ist super. Funktionale Küche mit angeschlossenem Ess- und Aufenthaltsraum in der 1. Etage. Zimmer mehr als okay. Obwohl aufgrund der Gebäudestruktur auf den ersten Blick nicht zu erwarten, gibt es im nahen Umfeld nette Kneipen. Würde jederzeit wieder buchen.

Einziger Nachteil: Es gibt keinen Raum, in dem ein Fahrrad abgestellt werden kann. Musste mein Gravelbike draussen stehen lassen. Das ist kein guter Service für Radreisende.
