Salcheto WineHouse

Our room did not look like the pictures online but it was still quite lovely. Very comfortable bed, big powerful shower, and extremely quiet. The breakfast included many options and everything was delicious. The staff were warm and helpful. The only reason I didn’t give this a 10 is because they charge a 6 euro cover charge for lunch at the restaurant. I can see charging for restaurant only customers but not for people staying there. Also the ride out to the location is part gravel and very bumpy but that is not their fault. That said, the view of the countryside and Montepulciano off in the distance is insanely beautiful. Worth the bumpy drive.

Being charged a cover charge for lunch in their restaurant.

Amazing views over montepulciano, lovely rooms,

The fridges the rooms were bar fridges only so what we bought from the supermarket went off. One of our rooms the air conditioner didn’t work The hots tubs are great but they are too hot. Hard to stay in and enjoy

Views were amazing, peaceful spot that really makes it feel like a getaway and less than 10minutes drive from the main town of Montepulciano. You get a real getaway feeling from being at the WineHouse!

The room felt a little basic for the price, but this does add to the rustic/retreat feel.

A lovely quiet location with views of Montepulciano. The hot tubs are a nice touch.

The rooms were small and no space for your suitcase which made it difficult to manage clothing. The bins were not emptied and the fridge had a half eaten sandwich on the top shelf.
