My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary in Italy, and our stay at Fattoria San Martino was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were warmly welcomed by Karin, whose kindness and attentiveness made us feel instantly at home. Every corner of the estate exudes care and artistry. Our room, like the rest of the property, was meticulously designed with an effortless blend of rustic charm and refined elegance. You can truly feel the love and craftsmanship that went into every detail — from the textures and furnishings to the serene ambiance that surrounds you. We chose to dine on-site in their beautiful dining space, and though neither of us are vegetarians, the food completely blew us away. Each dish was a work of art — vibrant, fresh, and bursting with flavor. It was one of the most memorable meals of our entire trip. Every member of the staff was warm, genuine, and eager to make our experience special. We even tried to extend our stay but weren’t surprised to find the rooms fully booked — once you experience this place, you’ll understand why. Fattoria San Martino is more than a place to stay — it’s an experience that nourishes your soul. We will absolutely return and hope this beautiful treasure continues to thrive for years to come.

Everything was perfect

The estate was gorgeous. We loved the biodiversity, from grape vines, olive groves, large garden, fruit and nut bearing trees, and hedges and swaths of herbs. The room was creative and chill and comfortable. The staff were so nice and helpful. The location is great, just a short drive to Montepulciano and an easy homebase for traveling the Tuscan region, like visiting Pienza and the other Monte's.

We were not a fan of the vegan dishes during the dinner service. We are not vegan, but we do love our veggies, but it wasn't suited for us. The presentation of the dishes were quite pretty and the breakfast in the morning was always wholesome and delicious.

Das Anwesen ist toll. Wir hatten eine schöne Veranda auf der wir sitzen konnten. Es gibt im Garten verteilt die Möglichkeit zu sitzen oder zu liegen. Der Pool war schön. Es ist ein Naturpool.

Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen das gleiche. Es wird lediglich beim Gebäck etwas Anderes gereicht. Am Nachbartisch wurden Eier serviert. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns berichtet, dass man diese extra bestellen muss, diese Info wurde uns jedoch vorenthalten. Teilweise roch es beim innenliegenden Bad etwas muffig. Für den Preis hatten wir insgesamt etwas mehr erwartet und würden nicht wiederkommen. Im Naturpool schwammen große Algen, das störte uns etwas. Der Weg auf der Straße nach Montepulciano ist für Fußgänger sehr schlecht. Es gibt keine Beleuchtung und keinen wirklichen Fu?weg sodass man auf der Straße laufen muss.
