About this villa rental
This beautiful independent villa in Tuscany has a private swimming pool and rests just 2km from the historical centre of charming Montepulciano.
The property is well looked after and ideally positioned for visiting the beautiful Val d’Orcia area (Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia, Bagno Vignoni and more) as well as Siena, Arezzo, Florence and Umbria.
The house is nicely furnished and has a fantastic garden that boasts a view which spreads out over Montepulciano and the surrounding landscape, adding a special quality to holidays passed at Villa Corolle.
Roughly 100m from the villa lies a bus stop which allows guests to reach Montepulciano without the need of a car (the owners supply each guest with a complimentary bus ticket for their first visit to the city).
Distances: Montepulciano with a wide variety of shops 2 km, Pienza 16 km, Cortona 35 km, Montalcino (home of the famous Brunello wines) 40 km, Arezzo 50 km, the Chianti Classico zone (Castelnuovo Berardenga, Greve in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti) lies roughly 50-90 km away, Siena 65 km, Orvieto 75 km, San Gimignano 100 km, Volterra 115 km.
Available to guests: large and well looked after garden (fenced in) with private swimming pool (irregularly shaped, approx. 10 x 5 m in size – depth 1.4 m), covered terrace perfect for outdoor eating (furnished with a table, chairs and a barbecue). WI-FI available.

First floor: double bedroom, bathroom with shower, twin bedroom and private bathroom with shower (this room is accessible directly from outside).
Second floor: double bedroom with private bathroom with hydra message bath.
Access to the house is through a beautiful covered terrace with a table, chairs and a large barbecue.
The following might be to be paid extra: Bed linen and towels (weekly changed), Cook, Final Cleaning, Heating, Refundable Security Deposit in cash, Tourist tax.

The house had such character, being over 500 years old! But still felt clean and comfortable. The view of Montepulciano was breathtaking and the location was perfect for getting in and out of town. Lots of day trip options too.

Gorgeous, comfortable house down the hill from Montepulciano. Older villa, but with modern amenities. Could use some tvs in the bedrooms. I could see why some wouldn't want it, we like background noise while getting ready for the day. Wouldn't stop me from staying here again. Great location, short drive to the grocery store and to walk up Montepulciano. So many wineries to visit close by! Great stove, nice dining room. We had the top bedroom, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Our friends used one of the 2nd floor rooms and said their bed was also very comfortable. Showers were small but good water pressure. The views in this house were incredible! Even the bathrooms had amazing views of the olive tree groves, Montepulciano, unbelievable views. Close to town and grocery store and wineries. Our visit was off season. Would be amazing in the summer! Property owner very nice. Language barrier but we made it work. Visit the hilltop, other nearby towns, wineries... make sure you have a car.

The garden is great with wonderful views. The house itself is outdated and full of antique things. This makes it difficult to clean the house.
