Nice apartment which works well if you are travelling by car.
The apartment was very nice and clean and the view to the Lake was amazing.
The road by the house is busy and you need a car even for going to the nearest restaurant since it is not nice to walk by the road without a sidewalk. Also car is recommended to be able to visit other towns via the lake since there is not so much to do in Lierna.

Amazing stay at Villa Eli with spectacular Lake Como views!
The house was very convenient and practical for a family of 4 or even 5. The Como Lake view is spectacular and it is so nice sitting there on the terrace while having breakfast, dinner or with a glass of wine. Lierna is a beautiful small town very well located for tourists visiting Lake Como towns.
Unfortunately, Como Lakeside almost always has a busy street close by. That's the case here as well and while the town of Lierna is close by, it is a tricky walk along a busy road.

The most beautiful Lake Como setting! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have plans to return. Fabulous outdoor area with a lakefront deck and patio that is magnificent. great location for getting up to Varenna and Giovanni was warm and welcoming.

A most amazing experience of life on Lake Como
Villa Eli must surely be one of the best places to rent for a most beautiful relaxing holiday on Lake Como - right on the lake with access to the water & the most beautiful and spacious sun terrace & garden (see photos). We loved the peace and beauty (& wonderful scent of all the jasmine flowers) of the location. The villa was also within comfortable walking access to the Lierna ferry from which it was easy to take day trips to all the beautiful spots around the lake. In addition to the exceptional nature of the villa itself, our host Giovanni was himself exceptional! Living (part of the year) next door, he welcomed us to our villa, invited us over for drinks a couple of times & even midway through our stay invited us to join himself and his friends for a party in his garden - a great taste of Italian food & hospitality!
The speeding motorcyclists on the road beside the villa were a little worrying and noisy sometimes but we were only really aware of the noise when on the balcony - not inside the house nor when in the garden. The house was extremely well equipped though perhaps some of the pans could be updated as a couple were missing handles or lids.

Fantastic spot with magnificent views on the lake
Giovanni is a fantastic host who lives next door in his “palace”. Very well maintained private garden and terrace on the lake. Feels very safe because of fence and good locks. The airconditioning in the bedrooms is a big plus during summertime. All amenities are in the house and everything is very clean. Feels safe even in Covid time.
Everything is great. A minor thing is the noise of the street in front of the house. During weekends it’s a busy road. The noise inside the house is minimal (very well isolated). The bathroom could use an update, although it is clean and complete.

Cozy house with a view
Cozy house with a great view, nice garden, awesome sun terrace and also direct see access. Direct see and mountain view from the balconies and windows in the house. Big living room with open kitchen, nice outdoor shower (+2 indoor showers). Parking 2 cars was also possible. Restaurants ca 10-20 minutes walk away. Frindly and helpful host living next door.
