The host was really exceptional, the food was great at the breakfast, there were so many nice details in the room, very nice decorated, we were really very satisfied.

The stairs had their charm. We got used to them immediately, it wasn't a problem for us.

It was a homely, clean and gorgeous little place which portrays character typical of the area.

A one bedroom boutique hotel five stars!

Location perfect, Sandra is lovely makes you feel at home. Spacious, clean all great. Comfortable bed. Fresh orange juice! Lovely breakfast would definitely recommend 👍🏼

Nothing I didn’t like!!! Just two tips: The staircase is very steep so taking up and down luggage can be tricky so watch your step :) Giving your exact time of arrival is recommended so that Sandra can prepare the room and great you. Everything else is perfect 👌🏼

Lovely B&B very close to the main square with free parking

The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive. She replied my messages in a timely manner. The location was very close to the main town square. Less than 5 min walk and the host provided free parking, a great bonus. The room was nice and large. It has all the amenities needed like kettle, TV, fridge. The host even provided free canned drinks. The breakfast was also very good.

There was not proper signs to indicate the B and B. I was knocking on the wrong door. The stairs leading to the room was extremely steep. Not ideal if you have a large suitcase.

An amazing place to stay in Gouda

Breakfast was amazing and our host went out if her way to make us feel welcome. She had many small touches that made the room feel special and welcoming.

Nothing she can change, but those wonderful steep, Dutch stairs. 😊 They carried our luggage up for us which was great!

Charming! Fabulous hosts. Accommodations were clean, comfortable with every detail included.

Sandra and Arnoud are the the best hosts! They made us feel right at home. Gouda was our first stop on our vacation and we made the right decision. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. No details were missed -- even included special local treats! Sandra helped us negotiate the parking, make restaurant reservations and give suggestions for several side trips. Please read the description of the room - you will have to walk up stairs -- this is clearly explained. It truly adds to the charm of the accommodation! Thank you very much for everything!

Very beautifully designed B&B. A unique experience taken care by a very lovely Dutch couple. Very warm hospitality and welcoming to Gouda. Good breakfast and more than enough amenities in the room/bathroom. Location is perfect, in the centre but quiet in the evening. Overall a greatly pleasant stay.

The room is magnificently unkept and has been arranged with great attention to detail in mind. Everything in the bathroom works very well. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic. The host was extremely kind and was very helpful with plenty of information about Gouda and things to visit.

Wonderful stay, but beware of the steep stairs.

Wonderful hospitality. Great tips & recommendations on the town. Breakfast was delicious. I would happily stay here again. The stairs to the room are very steep, although this is typical of old Dutch houses. In my opinion, it adds to the charm, but may not be suitable for everyone.

De Kamer Hiernaast - Stunning B&B accommodation

Sandra (the owner) was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome to her beautiful home. Our room was extremely spacious with every requirement catered for - and I mean EVERYTHING - from hair products to coffeemaker and EVERYTHING in between. (With some lovely, thoughtful little intricacies included, too!) Sandra advised us on the best places to eat around Gouda and we were spoilt for choice. Breakfast the following morning was delicious and plentiful and we enjoyed Sandra's company as much as her excellent cuisine. Gouda is such a beautiful, quaint little town and well worth a visit. If you are considering a visit I simply can't recommend De Kamer Hiernaast highly enough. This was our first visit here but I can guarantee that it will certainly NOT be our last and we are already looking forward to our return. An absolutely stunning place to stay.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Liebevoll und gepflegt angerichtet in einem schönen Zimmer mit Blick in den Innenhof. Im Badezimmer war alles was man brauchte vorhanden

Das Zimmer ist sehr beschwerlich über eine extrem steile Treppe zu erreichen.

Trel bel emplacement à 500 m de la place du Marché. Aceuil magnifique par la propriétaire et son mari. Petit déjeuner très copieux et délicieux. La Dame nous a très bien conseillée pour les restaurants

Ruime gezellige kamer met grote eettafel. We hebben heerlijk geslapen. Het was er muisstil.

Mooie ruime kamer met genoeg ruimte voor een spelletje aan tafel. Bed was heerlijk. Gevuld minikoelkastje wat je vrijelijk mocht gebruiken. Mooie ruime badkamer en heerlijk ontbijt. Gastvrije en gezellig pratende gastvrouw (en gastheer). Zou er zeker nog een keer terug gaan. Ook locatie zo vlak bij het centrum was top.

Zonnige vierdaagse

Uitstekende ligging, dicht bij het centrum maar ook een goede uitvalsbasis, bij een paar dagen logeren, om van daaruit met de trein naar Rotterdam, Den Haag, Amsterdam,... te gaan. Geweldig ontbijt, alle faciliteiten op de kamer en niets was ook maar teveel gevraagd aan de vrouw des huizes.

De sfeer van het huis en de kamer, heel centraal gelegen in het centrum van Gouda.
