What’s not to like

The location is great. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and small, but had everything we needed.

The air conditioner was a bit old. There’s a bar across the street from the hotel, a couple of houses down, that plays music until 2 a.m. It’s not very loud, but it’s worth being aware of.

Good location, cheap for Playa, good hot water.

Nothing really, but it's a lot of money for such a basic room. Playa del Carmen prices are getting crazy.

Good location, clean, has a basic kitchen with utensils. Overall fine for year money, but in pics and ratings looks much better than in reality.

Overall, the place is more run down than it looks in the pictures, and is not worth the high rating on bookings. This is more of a 6 tgan and 8. Checkin process is lacking proactive instructions. I had to ask.for checking instructions and the info provided back was terse. In the end it was fine, but stressful. The AC is very nosy and works so so. Could not sleep with it on. The bathroom smells at sewer.
