We spent two very happy days at Agriturismo Pescaia during our week in Tuscany. We loved Tuscany but were completely blown over by the beauty of the location at Pescaia! We had a two bedroomed cottage which would suit four people comfortably room wise, but was a nice luxury for just the two of us. The bedrooms were comfortable and very well equipped with lots of storage and the large sitting/dining/kitchen area was more than adequately equipped for our visit. It is outside that the property comes into its own, the scenery is absolutely stunning. In the immediate foreground is the families vineyard and olive groves, with more of the same and woodlands stretching out over the landscape with mountains on the far horizon. The grassed area in front of the cottage was the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or an evening glass of the local wine, enjoying the views and the copious birdsong, definitely the stuff that memories are made of. The hosts were very polite and professional as well as being genuinely nice people. As an aside, they sell a limited amount of their own olive oil and honey. We did bring a good supply home but regret not having any more luggage space to allow us to buy more. We have given some of the honey as gifts and it has been very highly rated! The walk from Pescaia into town is a challenge but we cheated. Taxis are pretty expensive to and from the accommodation but we walked to the church which is about one third of the way up and bought tickets for the hop on and hop off bus which took us up the hill, around town and back down to the church again. Very much recommended in 30'C+ heat! Pescaia was very much a high point of our visit to Tuscany!
The shower could have been larger, its on the small side, but good enough for us.

The views are absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the valley and Montepulciano—it truly feels special. The sheets and towels were fresh and impeccably clean, and thoughtful touches like coffee, water, oil, and snacks were greatly appreciated. Fabio and Sabrina were incredibly kind and welcoming. We arrived in the evening during cold, rainy weather, and they kindly turned on the heater for us even before the scheduled time, which made a big difference. The very comfortable firm beds allowed us to sleep extremely well.
It would be nice to have an additional heater to maintain a more comfortable temperature during colder days. Because the floors are ceramic, they can feel quite cold during colder days, so adding small rugs next to the beds would make the space even more comfortable.

Spacious and pleasant private accommodation with a beautiful view of the countryside and Montepulciano. All necessary amenities were available. Only the shower cabin could be a bit larger.

The location is beautiful and the apartments spacious. Sabrina and her father gave us a bottle of their red wine and provided us with a small bottle of their olive oil which they produce (we bought 2 liters -- it was so good.). The rooms were big and even though the days were hot, the nights cooled down so that we didn't need air conditioning. There were a lot of thoughtful little extras in the kitchen and bathroom. Water pressure was good. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The family was very nice. We were also given the sweetest plums I've ever tasted.
I knew it was in the country, but didn't realize how many roosters would be crowing in the morning :-/. The mattresses were very firm -- too hard for me. But more positives than negatives.
