Functional budget accommodation

As we were traveling by car, it was conveniently located right off the highway. This is more of a "budget" IBIS hotel and it was a good value for us. The room was functional, but we were able to get a good rest and have breakfast. A nice restaurant for dinner right down the street.

This hotel seems to appeal to the younger crowd, there were so many younger travelers staying there, perhaps connected with some sports clubs/activities. The lobby/ dining area is not very big so all these people made it quite crowded. At breakfast there was a line waiting just to get cutlery/dishes as everything got used up. Despite this hectic atmosphere, the staff did a good job keeping things moving and there was still food available for everyone. The quality and variety of food was less than higher level IBIS hotels, but you get what you pay for, so this is understandable.

A Budget too far!

Liked the comfortable bed & mountain views. Disliked the scruffy entrance, unsmiling reception, cramped bathroom in room, inablity to be able to plug the washbasin, lack of restaurant open on a Sunday evening, locality of hotel & dreadful approach through roadworks.

The staff was kind even at 2 pm. The breakfast was good. Everything was clean and neat.

The shower being in the room itself, no privacy at all. They gave us a different room, not the one on the pictures I booked. (Twin room instead of a tripe with bunk bed)

One of the worst Hotels (even for Ibis) that I have been to. The room had a sort of ventilator which could not be switched off and it was super noisy. We left it at min so that we could sleep. Cleanliness was not good, really appalling for Ibis. Sticky stains on the floor everywhere. Staff were quite unpleasant too. Probably not well paid, but we are clients, so being nice couldn't hurt. All and all I don't recommend it. You pay 10e more and can get a more decent stay elsewhere. You shower where you sleep and there is no extraction working (and are super dusty) so probably you wouldn't want to shower before going to bed. Yes, we can call it a budget hotel, but with poor options.

Door is locking access to the parking. Nobody sent me the code after I paid on booking.com. I had to call the reception, wait in the uncertainty before finally door opened. Small detail (trash can near reception): One zone for recycle, one for trash and another for something else, but only ONE bag under. So it's fake everything goes to trash.

Bad

The whole place smelled of smoke, even though it was a no smoking facility. The entrance door took ages to open. There was a staff member cleaning the entrance when we arrived and did not let us past. The floor in our room had black something and burnt areas where cigarettes had been put out. We booked a family room, but the high single bed had pubic hairs and stains. There were what looked like brown Ephesus stains on the walls. They offered to change our room, but we were so put off we left. No refund.

It was comfortable enough but boy is it cheap for a reason. A very plasticky bedroom. Stayed in an Ibis Styles Hotel the next night and that was a lot better if still budget minded.

The breakfast was good

The receptionist was too rude and non polite with the guests. He asked us for guaranty of 100 € in case we some in ghe room. When we wennt to the room there was very strong smell of cigarets so it was a risk that they said us after ghat that we smoke in the room and to fine us without being guilty.

On site parking, 24hr reception, good breakfast, clean and generally smart bedrooms.

Would look more professional if the front gate was automated rather than hotel staff having to come out and open it manually. Admittedly I arrived to the hotel late in the night but the carpet throughout the stairways and corridors were in desperate need of a vacuum. Im pretty sure the room I was given smelt of stale smoke partially masked by air freshener and cleaning products. Along with this there were a large number of burn marks on the floor next to the bed. Whilst none of the above experiences will stop me from returning to this hotel they did make a negative impact on my first impressions and for a fairly low investment in fixing these things, that impact could be removed completely.

Practical for a nights sleep

It was a Budget hotel and a budget efficient experience. Breakfast was better than expected. It was all I needed for a good nights sleep whilst travelling

Very convenient if you travel to the skiing areas. Basic room with just enough to stay overnight. The parking, closed during the night, is a plus.

Location for access to motorway. The beds were comfortable. Parking and security were good and breakfast was good. The cost was low.

Problems finding somewhere to eat in the evening ( we had to walk about 2km). The room was 'compact', with the the shower washing area only separated by a small curtain.
