Nice common areas, poor and outdated rooms

Breakfast was good, dinning room was clean and nice. Easy to find. Nice staff at night and morning. Private parking, size ok for a family car. Beds comfortable.

Room was not really clean, very old and in decay: the fridge had even dried slime inside. Kitchen and toilet, extremely small, together and separated by a door. Shower and washbashin on a different room. Shower head not fixed (hook broken, and size not matching with the shower head). Room space very narrow. Windows not isolating correctly, it was cold at night. Opened parking, doesn't look safe despite the cameras due to extreme darkness; fenced at least.

Parking available, nicely lit outside and inside at night, quite cozy. Staff spoke English , and all staff very helpful and friendly. Good size rooms, comfortable beds. Good value. Good choice at breakfast, nicely presented

Good central location with helpful staff and secure parking.

A great location in Grenoble, with a secure gated car park for my motorcycle. Night attendant was very helpful in guiding me to local shop as a I arrived in the evening and just wanted to grab some supplies and turn in. Usual European buffet breakfast of a reasonable standard.

Not much against it. The area was central so a little noise occasionally but not bad at all. Room was a little dark but perfectly comfortable.

More like a motel. The staff is making a great effort but a serious renovation is needed. Good breakfast and private parking.

Very small and dark room because it's only window was permanently closed, probably because its lock was broken. I don't think it should be available to guests while this problem exists.

Breakfast wasn’t great, cold omelette and bacon, not much choice. Room a bit tired. Located in what appeared to be a less than loved student quarter.

“Centre” is misleading. It’s a 40 minute walk to the centre of Grenoble or a tram ride.

Lousy everything!

the guy at the front reception when we checked in, he was very non complacent - don’t think he likes his job; no working hair dryer in room; no air conditioning - apparently broken down for a long time; no parking available; and by 8:15, no eggs, No sausages for breakfast and nobody cared to put more out. I have never rated a hotel this low! Everything I built my search criteria on to find a place, they fell short of. would never book this place again

Paying for parking. Room was cold. Air Con/heating not working at all. appeared to be on purpose rather than a fault. was already undressed & showered before discovering so didn't mention at time....

The car park layout and arrangements (could not pre-book a place) as had to leave items such as camping equipment in the car overnight. Our room was a bit shabby.

The rooms had the essentials and were clean. Free parking in the same hotel and quiet area. Jennifer at the front desk was very friendly.

Great bed! Good bathroom! Quiet! Dark when sleeping. Good location and very helpful reception. :)

Ventilation didn't work so I needed to open window to get fresh air. I had not asked for cleaning but was awaken from my sleep two mornings by cleaning staff. Please respect sleeping guests. VERY bright blue led light from TV was lighting up the whole room. I could not unplug the TV so in the end I covered the led with a plaster and some aluminum. Also, for your info. Right side lamp behind TV started blinking. Probably needs to be replaced. All in all. A comfortable stay.

Wrote them off my list! i should get a refund.

Due to flight complications, our group did not arrive for the first night of reservation, and when they arrived for the 2nd night - Kyriad had cancelled their reservation and charged us penalty!!!

Hotel in need of upgrade

There where ants in the room. Peeling paint around windows and door frames Black mould on silicone seal between bath and wall Breakfast room chairs was sticky and I didn't enjoy the breakfast

One night stay at the Kyriad.

This hotel has obviously undergone extensive renovation, from what was presumably a fairly dated hotel. In the most part, they've succeeded, save for some cosmetic details. However, the place was spotlessly clean, the bed was beyond comfortable and the hotel's quiet, yet central location, made this hotel good value for money. Ideal for a one or a two night stay in Grenoble.

Some cosmetic details, such as certain areas with old paintwork The corridors could do with a refurbisment.
